Excuse the few chart errors. We're working on getting them spot on. Most are perfect and the info in the video is spot on.

I won’t need neural processing for anything I do on the computer. But I might have to upgrade to a computer with a neural chip to run the next version of the OS. Then I will probably have to update the other software to run on that computer. Somebody will be making a lot of money, won’t be me.

Can you revise with the new bios update, I heard that the new bios update has a huge gain for multi core

I can clearly see that Apple had a revolution since 2020, and although I am an Intel fan, I really like Apple's progress. Unfortunately, I still can not use Apple products because all those software that I use does not run on Apple :( . apple like to make things very unique for its products and is very limited in connectivity and this is also another bad thing which impact users to buy its products.

i think a better comparison is the apple m chips vs the AMD ryzen 7 7840U since it beats the core ultra 7 in many benchmarks (especially on battery)

Why energy efficient is so important? 95% of time I use my laptop plugged even at work. Most places have a plug nearby. The most important is do what is needed fast.

The only problem that keeps me away from macbooks is the lack of software support and gaming support. Like andriod emulators. Other retro emulatirs ,API support all these just pushed me to get a similarly priced windows laptop with ryzen 9 7940HS rtx 4060 and i am impressed

Why are you not showing single core performance in Cinebench??? Geekbench cannot utilize lots of intel and X86 libraries and exaggerate the actual single core performance in their respective operating system(windows and Macos).

Maybe you should do performance per dollar that would be an interesting metric and more useable for the average user. I doubt Apple would be able to generate good value under performance per dollar.

To be fair windows is much more demanding than macOS and there are bandwidth issues with windows computers in general, so regardless of how good the integrated GPU is, it will never be like Apple's M-chip.

M3 is limited to Mac OS, so if it's faster, it's not much, but there's no normal Windows on it. For Windows laptop users, it's a good update.

I have a (maybe) stupid question.

I'm now in the inconvenient situation that I have to buy a new laptop, because my trusty old Thinkpad from 2017 has long passed its zenith.

I've been wondering for almost half a year now whether it's a good idea to buy a used Macbook with an M1 Pro because the efficiency of Apple Silicon is simply fascinating. (And also those sell for a somewhat affordable price with "reasonable" specs...)
Or is it worth waiting for the Ultra processor generation from Intel?

The things the laptop has to be capable of is good battery life, at least 2x Thunderbolt ports and it has to survive basic editing in Premiere Pro/Resolve for YT/Instagram Content and occasional forays into after effects.
What I need is something reasonably powerfull, that I can carry around, without looking for a power socket after 30 Minutes.😅
Does anyone have any current experience with the M1 Pro? How is it holding up compared to newer Intel/AMD Laptops?

Out of curiousity I testet my projects on a colleague's well spect M1 Max a while ago. Smooth as hack as expected. 👌
But I'm definitely not going to pay like 4000€ for a device like that. xD
For the really demanding projects, I have a pretty powerful PC in my rack at home.

M3 Max vs top Windows laptops? I want to see which one can get video editing done faster as well as 3D rendering, etc. — Battery life is nice for when on the go, but let's look at raw performance comparisons with both plugged in. M3 has been out for a while and I'm surprised there's no comparison yet.

I wonder if Intel will ship these new chips with 8GB of ram and charge 230 Euros extra if you need more?

This compilation is incredibly meaningless, this by the price and dimensions should be compared with the MacBook Air not the pro with the M3 pro, you are comparing two completely different products, like apples with oranges dude.

I also found it interesting that nearly all the videos I watched from channels that received early samples of the new Intel chip in the 14" and 16" Windows machines only compared against the M2. It almost felt like Intel asked politely, please don't compare this to the M3 right now, and of course the channels will abide by the request since they want early samples in the future. I'm glad even though you guys didn't receive an early sample that you grabbed some numbers from other reviewers and/or reputable websites and compared against the M3.

In idle/basic tasks Apple M2/M3 goes below 5W and that is unbeaten for now, and would be difficult for x86 processors

They came up with a very nice upgrade , a big thumbs up to intel to finally step up. But how far would they be able to go with x86 arch , the power efficiency and and battery life is tough place to compete for intel. The chip arch bundled with windows prolly not gonna reach the mac numbers soon but i hope they come up with good performance boost. These laptops will surely have a dedicated gpu so it will have better graphic performance and a better affordable price
