2 - 6 players
ОтветитьWhat if I have two of the same influencer ? How many action can I take in my turn ? If my action got challenged and I couldn’t do it does that count as an action ?
ОтветитьThis or love letter?
ОтветитьThanks for this! Nice video
Ответитьlove the video and you probable won't see this but i just want to ask if the ambassador can exchange both of their face down cards
ОтветитьHow do you get suspicious that others are lying?
ОтветитьRodney! 5 years late but aged bacon can be good.
Ответитьcan you use your contessa to block an assassination against another player?
I was thinking for negotiations?
Great video everything I wanted and more. First time playing and you even got 2 player adjustment a that's a like
ОтветитьThanks for the helpful video! In summary, here’s how to play Coup quickly in just 100 words:
Players receive two action influencer cards in hand and two coins.
Eliminate and turnup all opponents’ influencers cards to win.
On your turn, either take 1 coin as income, take 2 as foreign aid (can be blocked by opponent’s Duke card), take 3 as tax with Duke card, eliminate opponent’s card with 7, eliminate a card with 3 and Assassin (blocked by Contessa), exchange Ambassador to select 1 of 2 drawn cards, steal 2 with Captain (blocked by Captain or Ambassador).
Eliminate one card when challenged for bluffed action/block without supporting card or failing a challenge. Replace challenge surviving card.
Thanks for always explaining things so simply and clearly!
ОтветитьWhat if I have one card and I have or claim to have the ambassador do I get to take two cards frm the deck and then pick any 2 cards frm the three or do I just have to take 1?? this is one of my only questions and I haven’t seen anyone cover this in a video. Also if I have the ambassador and then take two cards frm the deck to swap can I still keep the same ambassador with me or do I have to always shuffle the proclaimed ambassador??
ОтветитьQuestion: let’s say I attempt to block a steal by claiming to have a captain but I actually have an ambassador. If I am challenged for not having a captain but my card does have the ability to block a steal, do I still relinquish that card?
ОтветитьThank you very very much for your great efforts in 15 minutes
ОтветитьWhat happens if you get 2 of the same card
Ответитьgreat video!!!
Ответитьthis game is amazing
ОтветитьVideo was literally well played 👌🏼👌🏼 enjoyed the thorough and concise walkthrough!
ОтветитьThank you, I was really struggling to fully understand the rules.
ОтветитьHow many challenges can we have per players turn? If an action is blocked by counter action can two other players challenge both of them?
ОтветитьWell done
Ответитьcan two players have same coins and coup each other,as they were the ramaning player in game?
ОтветитьOne question please guys, if I claim I have the Ambassador while I have only one influence left. The action "exchange" will exchange my one and only influence with only one random influence from court desk, right?!?
ОтветитьThis game packs so much fun in a small box! As always amazing video!
Ответитьthen who ever getting assassinated will always claim to have the contessa?? Will the player lose 2 influences if he does not actually has the contessa?
ОтветитьAwsome thx for explaining. I loved playing this game. I forgot some of the rules as I haven’t played it in months. This jogged my memory right away!
ОтветитьQuestion. So we know that any player even not in the action can challenge. But can a player not in the action do a counteraction? For example if player 1 wants to steal from player 2, can player 3 say they have the captain and block that action?
ОтветитьThank you for the explanation, and for being so delightfully cheerful throughout!
ОтветитьCouldn't have asked for a better instructional video on this game (which I recently purchased). Your overview was both clear and thorough, as well as done in a friendly and engaging manner. On top of all that, the video itself (i.e. the camera work) was well-executed. My applause, sir.
ОтветитьOh boy I can finaly do a tournament thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video thanks, very detailed and clear. I only have one question, which might be a bit silly but whatever. So for the cards with secondary blocking effects; specifically Captain and Ambassador Blocking steal and Contessa Blocking assasination, do you have to be the person that is the victim of the stealing or assasination in order to use these abilities and claim you got them or can you, as an unrelated third person still prevent a stealing or assasination by claiming you have captain, ambassador or contessa, like you would block a foreign aid, despite it not effecting you directly?
ОтветитьProbably the funniest game to ever play with a group of friends.
ОтветитьYou have saved me 15 minutes of explaining this! Always love your work! No one else can compare!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
so Contessa cannot block assassinations on OTHER people? only self blocks?
ОтветитьGood thorough rules breakdown. Thanks Rodney.
ОтветитьWhat if i am a duke, and i stop another duke from taking, and someone wants to challenge with duke what happens??
ОтветитьHey Rodney! Martin here. As always; a BIG pleasure to see videos of classic games. ANY chance that you review the just released Sorcerer? 🤭
ОтветитьBluff the game
ОтветитьSo the Ambassador can drag two cards from the deck and choose (if he wants to) to not exchange any of them with his?
ОтветитьThis game reminds me of Mascarade
ОтветитьWhy so many producers
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThanks 🙏,bithway
ОтветитьGreat, I was looking for a simple game similar to Love Letter, which can be completed in a short time and doesn't take too much time to explain, while it could be played with 5 players (ass opposed to LL which is limited to 4), and Coup fits right in.
ОтветитьI love this game, and the expansion! On New Year's Eve my cousins and I played it, there was 9 of us playing and the game lasted for over 15 minutes!
ОтветитьSorry this might be too late to ask.. but can someone pretend to have an ambassador to exchange a card or you need to show that you have the ambassador to before you can exchange card? And can someone challenge you when exchanging cards? Thank ypu.. :)
ОтветитьI have a question. Let’s say person A wants to assassinate Person B, but person C is a contesta. Can person C block the assassinate even though it’s not happening to them? To protect person B or no?
ОтветитьI know this is late but what happens if I only have one influence left but I claim to be the ambassador. Would I switch out one card to get another one or is the card useless now?
Ответить
