I love how Sean makes fun of the fact that every time theres a close up face shot for a decision he makes up an internal monologue lol, its frickin hilarious. Right after this episode i started playing and havent stopped. All cuz of jacksepticeye.

Until Dawn as an example: if you survive an attack by a wendigo once, you have more information on how to survive it a second time round. IE what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

The developers really have an obsession with "guides" who talk to you about the events of the game.

Does it really have to be a feature in every game they make? Starting to feel a bit forced. Like it kind of played a part in Until Dawn and I can understand it just fine for the Dark Pictures Anthology because you're being told stories, but yet another game with it? Laying too heavily into the tropes and sticking to the formula a little too hard.

Also, they always kill someone in the beginning. It's predictable. I get it, you want to introduce your monsters, and it certainly helped the last episode of the DPA "The Devil in Me" because the rest of it was a huge boring slog with barely anything happening in it, particularly if you played the game well, but overall it doesn't really pay to be so predictable and obvious.

I have to say with the first girl, Laura, that for once in something of the horror genre the character had an actually decent reason to roam into the woods. She was concerned for another human being when in most cases the characters will just say some crap like "Oh I think I heard something, Imma go check it out" LMAO
