ОтветитьNow i get it whenever i tried yo apply solder onto a wire it always floated and never sticked to the wire
Will remember to use flux in the future❤
This was the most informative soldering video I’ve ever watched! I’m a welder and I’ve been doing it for 35+ years but I can’t Sauter to save my life, until now thank you.
Ответитьthank you
ОтветитьWas an electronics hobbyist decades ago and always used big, thick, flux-core solder, never giving a thought to the flux or what it did.
Now that I’ve gotten back into it, I’m using super-thin Japanese solder paired with brush-on, liquid flux. It makes soldering so easy it’s ridiculous. Also dipping my desoldering wick into right the flux bottle before using it makes it absorb solder 10x better. I’m so glad I finally figured out flux!
awesome demonstration, thank you!
ОтветитьGreat video.....super informative, very consice and to the point. I hope you're making millions!
ОтветитьI learned something. Thanks!
ОтветитьExactly what I needed
ОтветитьYou need to teach something else you don’t know how to solder
ОтветитьBest video on flux I’ve ever seen. Well done.
ОтветитьI am new to soldering and bought solder with 2.5% flux. When I try to solder it won’t really stick to the wires. Should I buy some extra flux?
ОтветитьStraightforward explanation, excellent demonstration..
Loved it!
Every time i solder my diy projects i always feel frustrated because my soldering skill is very poor , it always ball up and very hard to make it stick, thanks to this basic guide
ОтветитьInsanely helpful for someone wanting to do some DIY soldering. Thank you
ОтветитьTysm for the basic. I thought i burned the board and throw it away after I couldn’t clean it. Now i regretting doing so.
Ответитьwow great demo, never understood why it's difficult to solder 2 free hanging wires together. will use flux paste
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI've been building electronics kits for ham radio since 2004. I have never once had to use flux. If you have a good quality solder, you don't need it. Also, when soldering two wires together, you heat them first with a tinned soldering iron and then apply solder to the wires. Solder flows easily. I've done a ton of board work and I've never did the whole cleaning the board thing. It is just not needed as long as you're using a good quality solder.
ОтветитьNo offence meant, but that is a shockingly bad joint in the first 30 secs of this video. Couldn't watch any further. 1. If that much flux is required for such a small joint, there's already a serious cleanliness problem with the pad. 2. Dab, dab, dab...multiple goes at heating the joint to finish it...that's all bad. It should be one clean pass, resulting in a nice concave fillet. Multiple dabs at the joint leave uneven heating through the joint with multiple stress lines. not a good example of how to solder.
ОтветитьSo excellent why did i not know this earlier in my life
Ответитьthank you. i cant do much with the info "you need solder".. i need to know why. this was exactly what i needed
ОтветитьThanks for the tip…
Ответитьmy dog bit my headset cable twice and soldering it back is different from doing it on board, it took me an hour to just get a decent connection but not properly. it wont stick. thank you so much.
Ответить.
ОтветитьThanks! You should make meditation vids too...soothing voice.
Ответитьwhat is no clean flux?
ОтветитьOh man I had so much issues soldering battery and motor wires to a speed controller today. My solder has a flux core but apparently it was not enough. So, inspired by this video, I went and bought some flux paste. Applied a decent blob. Worked in seconds!
ОтветитьWhat flux do you recommend using for boards?
Ответитьthanks for a succinct explanation, very useful. One thing that has confused me for years is why do Americans not sound the L in solder? to an English ear it sounds odd.
ОтветитьVERY good video. Professional
Ответитьvery informative video, may i know sir what is the brand of flux that u are using.more power & keep up the good work.god bless
ОтветитьAs a beginner making circuits and not understanding why my solder wouldn't stick, this was super super helpful. Thank you!
ОтветитьIv had a few fixes iv wanted soldering for a while and never knew how but I bit the bullet and I have ordered a soldering kit, flux, whick and isopropyl and I'm looking forward to trying this out your video has been the best explanation on using flux 👍
ОтветитьIs it possible to clean the tip of my solder iron with flux?
ОтветитьIt's Solder. Not Sodder. 🤡
ОтветитьFor years I've been trying to solder and I was convinced I just sucked at it but I just found my father's old brazing stuff and found an extremely old tin of "NOKORODE Soldering Paste" and I'll be darned if soldering didn't just become incredibly easy LOL. Tomorrow I will be teaching my son's to solder and explaining the importance of flux.
ОтветитьI never solder without using flux, both liquid and paste. Sometimes it will allow soldering to incompatible metals like copper to aluminium or steel too.
ОтветитьThe way you explain this to someone with zero experience like me makes me feel like I can do this.
ОтветитьNice, thank you.
ОтветитьGreat cudeo
ОтветитьFor SMD, eg hdd panel, it’s batter to fix the soldering iron to a stable surface, and easier to handle the lighter panel. Very tiny fuses can be soldered using a magnifier and proper lighting.
Ответитьnice tutorial
ОтветитьNice video. Thank you.
ОтветитьLike magic amazing discover
ОтветитьThanks, this really helped me.
