NEW Volvo XC90 | Better than a BMW X5?

Where is the Diesel variant? Outrageous they stop that easily the best with Diesel torque for such a vehicle.

They've done enough. The only downside is the protruding tablet, but the software is much better now. The previous design aged well and they simply updated it instead of completely redesigning it. Looks alright to me, very relaxing and classy interior.

Where is a DIESEL? 😪 Those B engines are pretty thirsty in the car of this size. Other than that fabulous looking car!

Didn’t the old XC 90 have poor reliability?

Boring boring boring (and this is coming from someone who really likes the brand). It’s practically identical to the existing car (inside and out). Blink and you’d miss the changes. The screen/infotainment looks like a drag and drop from the current motor (and I don’t think that’s particularly great).

I like this presenter. Casual but still pretty engaging and informative.

What’s the point preconditioning and cleaning the air in the car before you get in and then opening the door to get in and let the outside air back in again!!!

that center screen is LAZY AF! Love my XC40 Volvo 2020! still have it! and had it brand new! this is a huge let down! I love the way the NISSAN ARMADA/PATROL looks

Here comes the new dog, same as the old dog. That'll do just fine.
Like an old pair of boots, some things are perfect just as they are.
Some don't get what is a XC90, and for them, there's plenty of options out there...go on !
Volvo owners do not give a toss what other people think.

No I believe Volvo has not done enough to future proof EX90 as there is not any pure electric version! I am so keen and surely waiting in agony to see that car!!!

Nah, Palisade got physical climate buttons and also clean design. But 3.5+hybrid instead of 2 litr+hybrid. When crossing austria to italy on mountain roads all new volvos struggle to go 130+ and old volvos P2 can do it easily with bigger engine and less mass. Esp questioned solution is rear stick which cause handling worse then S80 V70

Looks great, except iPad. Could have done better there Volvo. Nevertheless, the XC90 still looks much classier than there German competitors

I mean I guess it’s a huge vehicle for the UK market but in America the XC90 is midsize compared to a jeep grand wagoner L Escalade LWB, Toyota sequoia and etc…

Mid life update? This design will be 10 years old when it comes out next year. So that means this model will stay for 20 years (till 2035)... 20 years!! I don't get how Volvo expects to keep the same car on sale for 20 years.
Most manufacturers do facelifts every 3-4 years... Volvo does them every 10 lol.
Bmw comes out with a whole new X5 every 6-7 years lol.
Kinda crazy to think how much more money BMW would spend on research and development over Volvo.

If only they revived diesel and gasoline.

as an s90 owner I'm hoping they do the same treatment because I love my car I just want a little update. I don't like the new stark interior with giant wrap around screens. love it

Perfect facelift. Still the best looking SUV on the outside as well as on the inside. I would take this over the EX90 any day.

Bet the wives of every response officer who drives motorways will be pleased their husbands are in a Volvo.

Classy for sure, however, the drive is boring compared to a BMW. I own a 23 XC 90 and have owned many BMWs in the past. The new Front looks great, however, the sides and back should have been tweaked as well. It’s a cheap redo that doesn’t flow very well.

The interior was always the weakest design element and the new versionis just as disappointing.

My friend get this and another one is Porche suv this car doesn’t take 1,5 tons pull up power and interior omg so bad , I mean entertainment system , so bad rest is good but still you expect something more
