As an Englishman, I just visited the Flodden battlefield on a georgeous May day and listened to this while looking out over the border country with the Eildon hills in the distance. Unforgettable experience. May we always remember the courage and loss of soldiers on both sides, our shared history and memory, and the life and beauty of the lands we call home

That walk alone took about 30 minutes to get there. But I say it's worth it. Beautiful day and a beautiful location and a beautiful woman and a beautiful bagpipes.

My dad always called my daughter and great granddaughters his "wee flowers of the forest "so beautiful 😢😢his funeral is 12th April we are all heartbroken but this will help us through our sad day 💔
