Yall clearly didn't understand the point of the movie. It wasn't for everyone to have their wish granted, but for everyone to have hope and keep their dreams and wishes alive instead of living without a purpose and putting their souls literally in the hands of another man. Did you not see when the new couple arrived and gave him their wish? They went from being enthusiastic and excited to lost and confused. He even says in the song it's much more than a wish it's like a part of them. (Their souls).

now this made it look like asha is kind of gullible/in the dark, what if someone had a wish to destroy that kingdom or take it over? obviously the king wouldnt grant it. not every wish should be granted if you want your kingdom and its people to stay safe. i think it makes the king seem more mindful, despite the fact he's perceived as a villain. it also makes the part where people forget and are happy seem more positive, since if they still remembered the wish and it wasnt granted, they couldve lived in depression or felt a need for revenge. but then of course to fit the ''villain'' label, they had to make him seem stupid and selfish and arrogant, but that selfishness and arrogance is so poorly written. he just keeps yapping about how handsome he is, thats the most BASIC way to represent that, its as if some sad ai wrote the backstory and motivations for these characters. they could've given him moments of self-doubt or something more psychologically interesting instead of making the entire movie directed at an audience of a bunch of toddlers. disney has a broad audience of various ages, not just kids that won't notice. plz fix 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

So i saw the movie and realised that in order for the main character to be a hero and a saviour she made the king a villain i mean at the start of the movie he was ok and till the end king’s character was forced to be a villain is what it seems!
This did not made any sense not even once they showed or gave depth to the fact as to why we should assume he is a villain or a bad guy so we sympathise with the main character and her actions

Video games have better graphics and story telling abilities than this

While I don’t agree with the majority in the comment section I do think they could have edited the trailer better so that they can show Asha’s idealistic personality and why she thinks it’s wrong that the kings not granting most of the wishes. In the movie she asked if he could give the wishes back so that the people can have a chance to make it happen on their own which that itself is fair but Magnifico only wanted to have control. This trailer doesn’t do a good job in explaining that.

Now the movie is out and since it's been nearly a year since it's released, I have to say that Disney celebrates his 100th Anniversary very well and no matter what people are saying, they seem to don't understand that this is a love letter to the studio and his history, just as simple as that, he may not be perfect but it touch me, right into my heart and I loved it, thank you Disney ❤

The movie is so incredibly good, I’m SO glad I didn’t watch this trailer first. I was able to enjoy each plot twist with surprise. This trailer literally spoils the entire movie… so frustrating. I have to tell everybody I know to avoid this trailer like the plague before watching the movie so it can be more enjoyable, instead of completely predictable. You all are beyond disappointing.
