Thank you for explaining Reggie. I was at a lose . I visited back on 2019 and love the ride but the Q and ride had a disconnect to me.

Im just praying the don’t add more screens. I hate it when they put screens in instead of animatronics or practical effects. It completely takes me out of the ride

I’m hoping that they make the right part longer. I’ve only been on revenge of the mummy once/a few times. I wrote it for the first time when I went to Universal Orlando back in June 2021 for my graduation trip. I had listened to videos of the ride, but the videos of the ride seemed longer. And when I rode the ride, the ride seem shorter. Like maybe just over a minute or so. It’s still had the regular start. But after that (spoilers for anyone who hasn’t read revenge of the mummy yet) fake ending scene, it was just a straight shot, and then the ride was done. I can’t remember if it was always like that, I don’t think it was. If anyone has written the ride between June 2021 and now, could they please correct me if I’m wrong or not? Or if you do think that the ride was shortened. Regardless, I am going back in January to celebrate 10 years of surviving with brain cancer, so I am interested to see how different the ride will be. Regardless I hope the ride is still the same, and there’s a little bit longer.

When I rode this I was an unfortunate victim of skipping the backstory videos because the line was short enough. It really does set up all of the ride details that confused me a bit. It explains the red hat kid in the beginning and explains what the med-jai even is. The ride is still my favorite, but damn... the story elements being revealed to me a year later is honestly blowing my mind.

I’m going to miss the Brendan Fraser part at the end :(, but I am super happy that they will be keeping the Ride open at least

The original was fun still. But it did get stuck every once in a while towards the very end. And you just had a delay to wait for it to release again. It was every few runs or so.

I enjoy the Mummy ride! Both actors had good movies. I’m not keen on the red hat coffee skit. Whatever they ( universal) choose to showcase the movie monologues. They chose something everyone understands & update the tv pixels

The ride will reopen either late September or early October. Multiple permits on the city of Orlando website (repairs for tech of ride) say that these permits expire September 12th. That will finish the job and after testing cycles after this, the ride will be back good as new.

I am going to the park around may the mummy ride is one of my favorites I hope it’s open by then :( I know it said late summer so :( hope it opens soon!! Great video by the way!!

Hope they replace the elevator or refurbish it. It breaks down to often and when you have a manual wheelchair

The new Hulk queue video is terrible. The original had style that flowed with the whole super-hero area that bases it's design and style off of late 90's early 2000's cartoons. The new one feels out of place and is kinda bland in my opinion. Hopefully we don't get some junk like that

Universal is selling demon slayer merch now. There is a demon slayer ride at japan but not here. Is universal testing the waters or just leftover merch from the japan ride?

I hope they update the locker system to that system found on Velicoraptor coaster.

i have NEVER seen the other ride queue videos in all the years i've been going. And I was there circa the original opening! I think i just assumed because I typically rode in single-rider or fast pass, they didn't have those monitors there. I think this ride lacks a proper pre-show, which is usually where you'd get that stuff.

I wonder if Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway is going to get a covered outside queue because of that new permit

Wife and i where legit on it about 2 weeks ago! Went on it so many times i love that ride! It was down for an hour or so when we first got to the park i thought we'd miss our chance, one of my favorites.

I've ridden both rides in Orlando and Hollywood, and the one in Orlando is SOOOOOO much better! I hope they don't change too much!
