Get your PMP Certification with NO Experience as a Project Manager - My Story | Project Management

Hi!

I am a graduate with a bachelor's in management information systems. this is a business administration degree, and I am currently looking for my next role. I was wondering how I could become a business (systems) analyst, and I want to leverage the stuff I learned in my college career. I am currently looking for my next role in IT, working on my CompTIA A+ to have a well rounded set of skills, I just do not know what I am doing at this point. I don't want to go back for my master's yet because I am still looking for work. It is insane. I finished college during the pandemic, and I had 0 leads to a job it has been insane. Would you say I should pursue a PMP? How could I possibly land an analyst role? I live in Houston TX and I see that the energy sector is pretty big, I want to break into any industry at this point. Hi Nik! Thank you for this video. I have 3+ years as a project manager and a 4 year degree. I am applying for the PMP and when I get to the 35 hours of PM training requirement I'm not sure what to put. I think you mentioned that reading the PMBOK could count as that, but the application asks for provider name and course title. Is this book still applicable?

Hi Nik, I have bachelors in CSE (2015) and Tech Management Diploma (2017). I have moved to Canada and work as a Legal Assistant at a Law firm which is totally different field. Do you think I can prepare for PMP for a career change.

Hi nik, currently I am doing my BBA cource which is a two year diploma my cource is about to end and for further , I am planning to become a project manager. I had one confusion I wanted to know that firstly I should get an online training as a certification and I also had to work for 36 months to appear for exam??

I am currently in canada and i have 2 years of experience working at freedom mobile as a sales associate where i have managed new smartphones promoting projects like iphone 14 and s23. Also managed inventory and tracked sales report and all. Does that count for pmp.

Also i have lead many projects during my pg in GBM in canada can I count that.

Lastly i have 2 years of project management related experience from india so can i use that for pmp in canada?

i have post graduation certification in project Management and 4 year plus work experience as Quality Assurance technician ( participating in various projects on and off)) can i be qualified based on my prior experience for PMP exam.

You are required to have experience to pass pmp, I will have to report you to the PMI
