It’s such a sad thing that she didn’t even mention about the Zafarnama. Not talking through a sikh’s point but one can literally google how Aurangzeb died which is Terminal Illness. Nicholas manuchi, an italian traveller, on his visit to india describes in his book how zafarnama, a letter from guru gobind singh ji killed aurangzeb. He was present in aurangzebs court when he witnessed all this. Here is the brief summary. He wrote that the two men in blues came to aurangzebs court and delievered a letter to aurangzeb. It was in farsi . It had the signatures of guru gobind singh ji. Aurangzeb started reading the letter. As he kept continuously reading the letter, I observered his body trembling. He suddenly fell from his throne and laid unconcious on the ground . The attendents took him to the room upwards where he was brought into conciousness. His body was still trembling and was feeling enough pain in his whole body. He said that he is not able to bear that pain, it is that enough and he was dropping tears also and he asked for death there to get rid of this pain . His daughter told him that guru gobind singh ji had written waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh in his zafarnama. So, father if you say this, it might work and you may get rid of your excessive pain as your soul will leave your body easily. Aurangzebs daughter was familiar with guru gobind singh ji. He used to cconsider and revered him as a saint of god allah. Aurangzeb wanted to say but he remembered that qazis had already warned him that if he dared to say any religious thing of other religions, they will pass a fatwa to cut his ( aurangzebs) tongue. Aurangzeb in his weak voice said to his daughter that he cant say as pressure from qazis. But he can write it on a paper. But before, he want to write shikastnama ( letter of defeat, aurangzebs last letter) against zafarnama - letter of victory. So, in a very miserable bad condition he ordered to write it through his courtiers. At last he being in a very painful state, he wrote waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh on a paper, and as soon he wrote it, he died . This nicholas mannuchi was none other than european surgeon, who stitched wounds and who did darshan of the guru in nanded and he asked guru gobind singh ji to make his sikh but instead guru sahib gifted his kalgi to him.
