This guy had super brain washing power other these people for sure! I lived in Dallas in the mid 90's. A man I knew who came there to work at McDonald Douglas aircraft plant, there in the Dallas area. He went out to the site and he said that a woman was still living out there 3 years after this event. She was living in her station wagon. He asked her if she lived in her car and she said yes and that she was one of "David's" last followers. He told me that at the time there was nothing out there except a pile of rubble.

24 children were killed in the fire. The Davidians say on their monument that only 18 kids were killed because they used 10 years old as a cutoff between a child and adult. David Koresh did nothing wrong by exercising his religious and second amendment rights. David Koresh was a paranoid man with a following , not unlike Jim Jones where paranoia ,power and arrogance take over . The people still in the fellow ship are not worshipping David Koresh they may miss him but my feeling is that the Branch Davidians left still have a church on that property are there for healing and sharing the Gospel only . David Koresh was a legend in his own mind and wanted to die a martyr too bad the brain washed followed and some were just scared to leave. Nowhere is Mr David Koresh mentioned in the Bible unless you look under false prophet. He is not the 1st or the last.

I am no Branch Davidian. I was 18 and in high school when all this happened and really wasn't a follower of the news in those days but as you pointed out the whole world more or less had their eyes on what was going on at the time. I remember tasteless jokes and even t-shirts kind of mocking the Branch Davidians at the time. But the fact is what occurred there is an example of a tyrannical Federal abuse of power. I wouldn't take as much issue with what happened there if state or local authorities handled the situation but the Feds had no place there. The BATF shouldn't even exist.

The author of this video should do more research before going to a place he doesn’t know anything about. The members who still worship there today do not worship Koresh. The Church sect was started the 1930s.

This situation should have never escalated the way it did. Koresh could have been arrested easily, alone, by the Sheriff. However, after hearing about the botched raid, and the ensuing debacle, I was NOT surprised, the BATF being a federal agency. While serving 22 years in the military, I encountered wild eyed, wide eyed 'leaders', who couldn't wait to make a name for themselves. Not to mention, these very same people would climb over ANYBODY to make sure that they somehow, highlighted themselves for glory, at ANYONE'S expense! Then there was the charge of 'suspected pedophilia'. If that were true, are we to now know as to the tactic U.S. law enforcement agencies use regarding said crime? Is that how U.S. law enforcement agencies approach 'suspected pedophilia? Burn the children alive?!?
