Woooooow So that's how it's made. We call it "bee pang" over here -- literally "fragrant rice" cakes. Nice to see uncle keeping the tradition alive.

ОтветитьVery interesting process!
It looks like he uses vegetable oil to make the rice stick together. I assume the oil is healthy enough to eat.
Cares to warn others and he's snacking on the job. He's a genuine hard worker that take pride in his work. I would love to one day visit this area.
Ответитьso weird i had a dream last night about how pop rocks could possibly be made and thought about how they make popcorn in asia..and now i get this video recommended to me. i am pretty certain they make pop rocks this way too.

ОтветитьHe should be awarded an ISO certification for following this procedure with so much precautions, method and honesty 👍👍
ОтветитьImagine if you could witness this man doing his job from a butterfly or ant perspective?
You wouldn't see an old man making treats you would see a God controlling a volcano then making mana from heaven as the crumbs fell to earth feeding your colony 😮
You would have whole systems of religion owing respect to the God of Volcanic Tasty Treats
The last time i saw in making for bepang from street vendor like this is when i was still a small kid in elementary school. Im 40 ++now. Such a nostalgic snack making

ОтветитьGuys, come to Taiwan and taste it yourself, 爆米香 is really good.
ОтветитьIm sure the rats love this place
ОтветитьBrings back childhood memories. An old man would push a cart to our neighborhood. all the kids would run out when they hear that loud bang.
ОтветитьIt really IS “shot from cannons”
ОтветитьMakan bipang.
Ответить這支影片其實在8分20秒後都算是重複了,然這支短片的導演實在厲害!8分多鐘,無半句台詞 無半組對話,卻也無半秒的冷埸!

In India its make into balls, we dont add peanuts and use melted jaggery for sweetness.

It looks like a very sacrificial job. It must be hard to do a job like that all day, every day and maybe earning very little money, but you can see that this Man does his job with love. The products looks tasty and perfect, way more better than an industrial one for sure !
ОтветитьWhen I was living in Taiwan in 1973 the first time I heard one of these rice poppers go off I thought it was a 12 gauge shotgun. I heard the whistle then BOOM. I thought who the hell is firing a shotgun right here in town?
Ответить頑固そうなオジサンですね、やっぱり職人技は日本と同じです!凄い!
