You should take along night vision & thermal imaging equipment on these hikes.

Porcupines have bad eyesight. They can make a lot of these noises you guys are hearing. Even what sounds like teeth chattering. They make these noises to communicate with each other.
Raccoons can also make some of these noises.

😂 ignorance is bliss! I have lived in the forest my whole life, I use to just stroll around the woods with not a care in the world. Then a Bigfoot showed up at my house and made a believer out of me. Now I have spent many years researching all of it. And now I don't even go into my yard without a gun. But I of all people know it takes something serious to change a person's perspective. Hopefully a cryptid creature doesn't get you before you realize!
