I'm a 60 year old Australian. Our government abandoned "religious education " in our schools during my school years.
And it's factual a noticeable difference in character, personality, compassion, integrity in majority of individuals, who've never had the education of "Faith in God our creator". Our children would have many friends for sleep overs, and those children found it astonishing as parents we never swore at our children, we never fought or argued. We kissed them good night every night. There was always respect and calm compassion. And we're blessed to see that in our grandchildren's up bringing. It's vital to have a strong foundation of belonging in faith to grow....
Many think they can live without knowing God, but are terrified to die without knowing God...
You either die in fear of the unknown hell, or resting in the arms of angels in peace, restored vibrancy and glory ever lasting.

I ran across this and decided to watch; not noticing the title of the channel. I was wondering why the narrator kept saying " woke". Matthew never says it. Listen, "woke" is not the insult you think it is. Conservatives have subverted this word! Am I woke?? Yes! Am ashamed of being woke? Not at all! The ORIGINAL meaning of woke: to be informed, educated and conscious of social injustice and racial inequality. OOhhh, so that last part is the problem and because it is a word that was coined by the black community! Seeing that they believe there are no social injustices or racial inequalities............. Just know, for me, it is not an insult.

Hollywood demands conformity?! Wow! You could have fooled me. Actors are the most non conforming people of any industry. Nothing Matthew said in this highly edited clip was against “woke” culture, the meaning of which, has been vastly distorted by ultra conservatives from its original meaning ( to pursue social and racial justice) into a word which incorporates all the masses of negativity they pile on liberals in order to sustain their own view of what human beings should be which is MAJOR CONFORMITY to their own political and social agenda. So stop the hypocrisy and get real. Everybody with a modicum of thought knows that throughout history the conservative agenda was for the individual to conform to certain cultural expectations. The slave to slavery, the gay to closeting, the women to economic and educational restrictions and now to restrictions on reproductive health. NOBODY demands conformity as much as conservatives which is why they are now into persecuting transgendered children. They are kids who don’t conform. Religion is not for “the right.” Religion and spirituality is for those who seek deeper meanings which liberals usually do. The trouble with some religions is that they have become money grabbing personality cults who parade around as righteous while supporting political leaders who spew hate and advocate violence. They are corrupted in every way possible. The modern day Pharisees who seek only to maintain power.

That's fine if he's a believer. Nobody in the room has to share that, but you have to respect it. The same applies the other way round.
And although I tend to be liberal, this all-too-obvious mega-liberalism annoys the hell out of me. In this respect, it's simply good to hear other opinions. It's always easier to go with the flow.
At the same time, I think it's a bit much to portray religious people as great beacons of light. Religions ALL preach respect, understanding, forgiveness. But of course only within their own cosmos. Most of the time, all these good qualities stop when someone doesn't share the faith or follows a different faith.

Anything a person believes is a religion to them.
