i read this as a kid i don't know why i suddenly remembered it i had no idea there was a movie
ОтветитьI saw this as a teenager with my family and made an excuse to go to the toilet during the saddest scene as I can no longer hold my tears.
ОтветитьThese trio did excellent in this adventure movie, the cat was the star. Lost in San Francisco whilst looking for their loved ones. They succeeded after all the trial & error, fighting, scrooching for food, meeting the love of your life, ect, ect...Boshernitsan v. Bach, 61 Cal. App. 5th 883, 276 Cal. Rptr. 3d 109, 2021 Cal. ОтветитьThis was back in Disney was still wholesome, devoid of all the political and woke nonsense!
Ответитьthe trailer got me crying
Ответитьawesome
ОтветитьIt's interesting how the trailer doesn't show the animals talk.
Ответитьwhen disney actually made quality family entertainment.
Ответитьi loves this movie
ОтветитьIn the dubbed Dutch version they're names were Nestor, Sissy & Mazzel lol, watching this movie is such a beautiful childhood memory. Actually tearing up thinking about it.
ОтветитьMy first child is due in October - I CAN'T WAIT to rediscover these old classics with him.
Ответитьoh no my childhood
ОтветитьHomeward Bound <3 Wow. They don't make em like this!
ОтветитьWhat's sad is the fact that I'm actually tearing up just watching the trailer. Man, I must be getting sensitive in my old years.
I always thought this was the original movie, but i found out today that it's a remake to the movie the incredible journey a tale of three animals. It was filmed in 1963 and the book was published in 1961. I'm reading the book now, hopefully it's as good as the 1993 movie. I can already see changes from the original and the remake. Like the name's, and Shadow being the young pup not an old Labrador, and Chance is an old English bull terrier, very odd. 🤷🏽♀️
30 years ago!!!
ОтветитьWhat a great trailer. They didn't reveal shadow chance n sassy would talk. Was a great surprise when I first watched this classic
ОтветитьWho is here after Jonathan Mejors "wired" answer.
ОтветитьMy son watched this today and loved it x we are watching it together tomorrow night 💕
ОтветитьRest in eternal paradise Chance, Sassy and Shadow ❤
ОтветитьOne of my childhood favorites growing up and still remains the finest one after 30 years, I actually had no idea it was a remake
Grossed over $57 million worldwide leading to a sequel
The movie's appeal to the younger kids yes but the animals as well
They have voiceover actors channeling their inner thoughts and thankfully it's not any of the creepy mouth movements
It's kinda incredible they put the animals in dangerous situations its almost uncomfortable
You are rooting for them to get back to their family safely plus the scenery is breathtaking with the California landscape
Robert Redford, Michael J. Fox, and Sally Fields are pretty spot-on voicing these animals
Chance is the narrator but the driving force is Shadow just wanting to go back his human boy he loves so much
Yes it's corny at times but has an understanding seeing their facial expressions, the camera angles, and how they react to certain situations
It's easy to see their emotions and what they're thinking
This movie still retains a feel-good charm
Plus it shows the deepening bond between dogs and humans; they're supposed to be faithful, loyal, and true
There's always room for family and we can learn to say goodbye even if it's temporary
Both kids and adults can enjoy this together endlessly whether it's the 1960s version or this 1990s remake
On This Day In 1993, Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey Came Out In Theaters. Happy 30th Anniversary
ОтветитьMy favorite movies
ОтветитьDid they killed the cat for the movie?
ОтветитьAnd just look what Disney has become today. Sad times sad times.
ОтветитьClassic
Ответитьi just picked this up at the library, can't wait to play it
ОтветитьChildhood memories love this novie
ОтветитьHow far Disney has gone from this time…
ОтветитьNow I know why I watched Spin City when I was 9. Never noticed he was chance as a kid lol.

Not only do i love this but i enjoy watching it. i mean come on here, how can you not love this or even enjoy this.
Homeward bound is an incredible movie to watch for all ages and it's worth the time and money to buy too. I'm surprised that they didn't do a third movie for it yet, the first two movies are out of this world and they have done a fantastic job with it. So maybe we don't need a third one, just leave it the way it is.
