Not because her sister is good at studying it means she's good at teaching. Usually those people are the worst to teach someone else

why are the parents just sitting there while the sister is bullying her brother at some points they even laugh at her taunting ... It is clear the Hwacheol is making an effortmeanwhile his sister does nothing but discourage him... Where is their support for their son?

she is distracting him when he is studying , yet if someone drops a pin with her she shouts and acts rude , respect his work if he needs help he will ask ,

Please my sister and i fight worse then this and 15 minutes later we're fine. Kids don't get along all the time, especially older kids and teens since they have something called as pride and ego which they protect at all costs. This is normal, they'll fight but the important thing is that they make up. My sister and i fight all the time but we have each other's back and we protect each other when the time comes. That's what's important

"studying in your own way is studying less than a third of others" this is very true, when i was in school, sometimes people will say "i didn't study that much for the exam" and they got a really high score, but for me i felt like i studied a lot but every person is different, some people study for 1 hour a day and they feel like that's a lot, some study for 5 hours and they feel like it's not enough. She made a good point here.

His sister is kind of mean. His parents need to get someone who isn’t a family member to help him.

For my SAT/GSCE I only studied for the 2 last weeks before it started except for maths, that's the one thing you can't study by yourselves at the last minute. Once I hit senior grade I immediately signed up for tuition/extra class nearby my home for mathematics and I ended up passing my maths exams, it's not much but considering I was struggling to even pass I'd say it is worth it. So know your limits and be proactive and do what you can to save your grades..

if you know he wants to get better at studying and he's making an effort what's the point of sitting at the table and hurling insults at him... 🤔

This is from my experience, I don't mean the video:
If you want to teach someone NEVER make them feel humiliated for being wrong or not knowing something... because why would they ask for help in the first place? If you don't know how to offer good help, you help him o her better by looking for someone who does have the patience to explain things from scratch. Or learn to make studying a little interesting or enjoyable!

I'm like Hwari. I used to do that to my younger sister. I thought reverse psychology would challenge and motivate her but I guess it didn't work. Now, she's doing great studying at her own pace. Maybe, the strategy that my parent used to me does not apply to the new gen anymore.

i saw myself in hwari but not that much. i would get frustrated seeing my siblings struggle i would kick them out of the room but i would def not judge them like she did lmao i'd tell them to study more and do their homework regulary but never go to the extreme of making them feel discouraged. but def still kicking them out. i'm glad they're all in that age where they can do a lot by themselves if they need any help they ask and understand quickly and move on in their own. my lil brother would like ask me to just stay with him while he does the homework as like.. a mental supporter lmao
