This is NOT what I expected from Titleist......TS2 & TS3 DRIVER REVIEW

Was your swing speed quicker back then? Or was this driver just that long even compared to current day offerings?

Hi Rick just bought a TS2 driver from 2nd swing golf ( 171 and change ) but previously got fitted for a Taylor Made Stealth and the main thing getting my specs so took it to the Titleist driver, face loft 10.5 swing speed 82 ball spin 2200 launch 15 degree and shaft 55 gram carry over 207 . It will replace my PING I15 with a heavier shaft 69 gram and only 165 yard carry off the tee. Feeling a better driver and newer technology coming to my bag !

I hate the sound....too tinny

Man I saw this ts2 for super cheap. But I kinda want to wait and get my hands on the TSR series

What better for a mid handicapper?

I bought this TS3 last year used and I'm so glad I didn't spring for the tsi3. I love this driver. I'm back to hitting it 300 yards again.

Rick, I currently have the Titleist TS4 in the bag. But I am looking for a more forgiving model. What would you recommend? Save my pocket and go for a different TS driver or save up and invest in TSi driver?

I have a TS3 I bought second hand. I am very disappointed with it. I hit it off the tee the ball flys about 150 yards and takes a nose dive. It is crazy, this was at the driving range. A person next to me let me use his Ping G30 or 40. I hit that ball about 275 yards. Is an adjustment to the settings need to be made? I had very high hopes for this driver.

Hi there rick. i recently purchased a tsi2 driver and i bent the crown of the club. So I teed off and hit the ball on top of the face of my club, when i looked at the club face, it made a buble across the top of the club. so i think the loft has changed slightly. i feel that a club should not do this.

Just picked one of these 9.5 degrees with the Even Flow shaft. Can't wait to smack it.

Bought a brand new TS3 six months ago. Overstocked and with the new TSi out, it was on sale for ¥18,000 ($165.)

There was no need to replace my Epic Speed but I couldn’t resist the price and my long love of the Titleist shape made me jump at it.

I’ve played many Titleist drivers in the past but the guys in my gang always put drove me. I wasn’t expecting great distance but I found myself out driving the guys and the confidence I get looking down at address has me hitting more fairways than the tour average.

The simple sleek looks and performance is outstanding.

I get more distance with the Sim2 (in fact impressive distance) but the visual appeal and inspiring confidence makes the TS3 the best driver I’ve ever had in 46 years of golf.

My MacGregor 693 Tommy Armour gave me that same sense of wellbeing at address but my confidence was misplaced, the sweet spot isn’t even the size of the insert... can’t see why anyone can’t hit one of these modern mailboxes well.

Haven’t been in love with a driver in a long, long time.

I am not convinced, that’s more struggling with shots for RS in a long time. I would not stand a chance of taming these drivers.

Hey Rick, great review! Had a fitting yesterday and had a similar experience with the Titleist drivers...wow! I have never owned a Titleist Driver but decided to go in with an open mind. I'm currently hitting a Callaway Rogue 9.0 set +1 with the HZRDUS Yellow shaft. Landed on the TSi3 with HZRDUS Black and was smoking it. Ball speed was up a few but easily added 8-9 yards carry to my drives. Most of my misses were a bit left, but overall was pretty forgiving. Going back in February to see what the other mfg put out, but the TSi3 is high on my list for my next driver. Great review as always...cheers!

Going for a fitting today Rick....thanks I've been playing the old (2010) 910 D2 driver. Time to treat myself to a new stick !

Got fitted for the ts3 today, picked up 10 yards of carry and 13 yards of overall distance. Feels great and it was a tough decision between the ts3 and the cobra sz extreme.

Am going through the mental arithmetic and trying to justify a swing from Ping! Maybe I’ll wait until all the new drives come out from Ping & Titlest and have a demo on all!

I have a Taylormade Burner 2009 driver that I hit well. What more could this TS2 give me.

Picked up the TS2 about a month ago. Mitsubishi Kurokage shaft. Lots of launch. Lots of forgiveness. Nice looking club. Definitely got me excited to tee off

i feel like whenever i tested titleist drivers, such as the 917 D3 and the TS3, i hit the 917D3 further, thus is why i keep it in the bag, along with my scotty putter and 716 ap2's. I tested the TS3 at a local store and it didnt feel as good as the 917D3 did.

my driver is the ts2 with the same shaft, and it is the best driver ive ever had. sure it was pricey, but i went from an average 260 yard drive from a taylormade r9 to a 300+ with this driver.
