ОтветитьNot before Noah, it’s the same event told by different people.
ОтветитьHe is wonderful. Is that the ending? What tears ... He's wonderful. I love his enthusiasm and his quirky sweetness. He made me laugh and cry, and that ending was so perfect. Thank you Professor. 💕
ОтветитьJesus Christ was A Carpenter and do you really think that He would design The Ark to look like a big Onion or Turnip ?
Ответитьyou are a master story teller! This topic has always been beyond interesting to me but your story telling methods added a layer of wit that made this especially entertaining. Please speak more!

ОтветитьDiese runden Teile. Aus welchem Material bestehen sie?
ОтветитьWhat was the difference in size between the cuneiform description and the replica?
ОтветитьLost all respect for the man when I saw his ark building video. Dumb as f@@k.
ОтветитьCorcalcle has etymology roots parisaal which is tamil. And suthu is aslo a tamil word which is in use in present day to represent the circumference of anything . And elephants are an intergral part of south indian temples. urutuu in tamil has a different meanings like to roll, round objects, and also slope which is all related.
ОтветитьInterestingly, Dr Finkel was raised in an Orthodox Jewish family, but became an atheist in his teens.
ОтветитьIn these comments, someone suggests the great Dr Finkel is dead.
In fact, as of November 2024 he is still -- very much -- alive!
Dr. Finkel is hilarious. I have read and heard others say the same thing, but he makes it very fun!
ОтветитьJohn's Revelations was rather sour on the Babylonians of his day.
ОтветитьGreat ending. Yes - sounds like the bird, or the One who sent it, was telling him what they thought of his theory. God has a great sense of humor. (As does Irving Finkel.)
Ответитьfor these guys 1979 is yesterday
ОтветитьFirst thing I must say, having listened to many many speakers on a variety of subjects, is...... What a wonderful speaker! A gem! A delight! A rarity! Most people who speak, no matter what the subject is.... shouldn't. This was a real treat! Thank you for not only being educational and sharing your knowledge and wisdom, but for making it interesting and entertaining.
Ответить10 T 50 R !!!! Love John !!!!
ОтветитьThe Ark was not a secret, not surprising it was “recognized”
ОтветитьAs the Japanese would have it ‘A living National Treasure’!
ОтветитьTerrific lecture, fact and fun expertly combined.
ОтветитьThank you for posting this lecture by Irving Finkel. He is wonderful and the lecture is even better the second time round.
ОтветитьSo you just needed your “decent light” to “read” that tablet huh? You’re full of it… you didn’t read or translate anything? Who are you neglecting to credit?
ОтветитьMaravilhoso!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your talk with Dr. Finkel with us.
ОтветитьSo it would never work? You mean all the animals wouldn't eat eachother, and the area fkr food for all the animals would take another 2 boats...lol
Ответить14,430 is a sacred number found everywhere in ancient cultures, including India, Egypt, South America, Ankur Wat and Stonehenge.

Ответитьlove not only everything about this enlarged subject but also what an admirable professor!!!!!!
ОтветитьOmg! What a great lecture. This guy is awesome!
ОтветитьGreat and powerful Irving, would that the name Finkle have descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky, and that the first to the last one end up fitting in that boat.
If you haven't become a fanboy of this intellectual titan, you should be. You, I feel, are a case study in spreading historical interest. Lightning rod of cool and true history. You have my thanks
Wow, what a lecture! Amazing!
ОтветитьAs far as waste goes, you would have to shovel it out and dump it in the water.
ОтветитьAmazing, funny, interesting, intelligent
ОтветитьWhat about the boat that they said they found on top of that big mountain they said was Noah's boat so that was a big lie Play somebody explain this to me

ОтветитьExcellent !!
ОтветитьI'm on a boat
ОтветитьThe man is smart, but SUCKS at public speaking. The way he speaks is not intellectual, or easy to follow for an American trying to learn. Do better.
ОтветитьEvery empirical barbarian civilization borrowed and copied from one another thru time , four similar Jesus Christs stories and Flood stories from other civilizations , all using cult elements to generate their empirical programs. Gods are pure fiction by wealthiest groups for obtaining the services of the poorer people.
