Loved this! So happy to see you again! You were (don't take this wrong) "my first," i.e., when I first started watching fragrance reviews and first took the plunge into this world. I was living in Ukraine then, living in Poland now for obvious reasons. Like you, "the work" (you have yours, I have mine) is the priority but this fascinating dimension of reality called "fragrances" is always there, a friendly, enchanting, delighting companion. Especialyl, indeed, during the hard times (like war). Of the fragrances you review here, I am most intrigued by the Pasha de Cartier, have put that on my list to try. As for the Aventus, I sniffed it, finally, for the first time within the past half-year, at Macy's on a visit to the States. Yes, very nice, although I personally can live without the pineapple. It reaffirmed me in my love of Mont Blanc Explorer, which I bought back in Ukraine "innocently," meaning I had nothing like "Aventus clone" anywhere on my cognitive horizon; I just bought it because its smell enchanted me. Only later did I learn I'd bought something that was ostensibly trying to be Creed Aventus. Ah well, I love it entirely on its own merits.

Missed you AC!!! By the way, your review of Chanel Egoiste is legendary! The classic Jacque Polge fragrance that is one of my favorites. For some reason, I only wear it at night before bed because it gives me a sense of calm. My wife, annoyingly says, “did you spray cologne again?” 😂 Well…
