Taylor one of the things I love about your reviews is not only that they are so on point, but they are also so well researched. You do such an awesome job.

On another note, as an Aussie, Sea World was always a fave of mine as a kid. That building that now serves as the station and themed run-off for Storm Coaster used to be home to two incredible world-class dark boat rides (at seperate times). It was originally called Lassiter's Lost Mine Ride and was filled with scenes of flooded mines and chaotic animatronic miners. Great effects and so immersive. In later years it was replaced with a ride called Bermuda Triangle - an almost exact copy of which can be still be found at Movie Park Germany. Both of these dark rides, combined with the old flume ride, were enough to make Sea World magic for me. And while Storm Coaster is nice, I'm just sad that kids today don't get to experience the magic of old Sea World

When i went on the wood 🪵 one i cried when i got out 😢 i was spost to go with my mum but my sister cried for my mum so i went with my dad

Unfortunately when I went it was chucking it down with rain, which meant this experience was a bit miserable, barely anything was open. I've been to sea world countless times since it's my go-to destination (I'm located in Sydney), so I wasn't missing out on much. On clear days this park is amazing. So glad you guys went on a good day!

We just went today and most of the rides were closed and/or in renovations 🥴 However, we did enjoyed the spongebob bikini bottom ride!!! I was screaming my heart out it wasn’t even scary for others but it was for me.😂 We are also staying and the Sea Word Resort for 5 days and the pool is the best for us. We got sun burnt but it was worth it.😂

I've been to sea World Australia and the best part of it was the leviathan ride but the shops were amazing there were billabong and many other shops

The only "connection" with the US company is that the founder was inspired by the San Diego Park's general concept having visited the United States, he named the Australian park the same name because it wasn't copyrighted in Australia.

The leviathan is super fun, big improvement for the park. Definitely the best views, the new trident rides gives the best views hands down

Sea World is not a two day park. It's 4-5 hours if that.

Biggest problem? They all open at 10 and close at 5.
Not enough time to avoid rushing

Is it weird that I can literally walk to Sea World in roughly 10 minutes, yet I haven't been in over 15 years? Not insinuating that it's bad there, it's just that life goes by quick and you forget to do things like that, it becomes just work and then rest. You never have the motivation to enjoy a day off anymore.

I visited Sea World back in 2012. Nothing wrong with the rides if that's your thing. One thing that has always stuck in my mind whenever I hear SeaWorld mentioned is the outrageous price gouging for any food item. Bear in mind, I'm talking about 2012 prices. 9 dollars for a sausage roll, 7 dollars for a cheap, generic, banana flavoured ice-cream. Which, at the time, you could buy for less than a dollar at any supermarket. An absolute scam which, unfortunately, has turned me away from every revisiting.

Sea world Australia is not just meant to be a theme park. Unlike the sea world in the US Australias sea world also functions as a wildlife rescue reserve

I went to Sea World in 1987, the log ride was going back then. I don't remember much else about it, but it would be significantly better now (you'd hope!)

I went to sea World as an excursion at school it is called camp because we slept at school as well l went with my dad and he was the only one in my family there. I went on the storm ride and I had a blast l love it oh and my school is called Summerland Cristen college and it is in Goonellabah from a lismore girl Zoe 😁 remember you are all loved

Sea World was seriously lacking rides prior to the Leviathan and Vortex (Dreamworld's Wipe Out) opening. You are right in that they need a good steel rollercoaster. They could look at using some of the former monorail pathway to insert a longer steel one that runs parallel to the path and loops back.
Jet Coaster is the biggest disappointment. Seems to like being shut whenever I have been there.
