Not to Necro this Vid, but the Infiniti G37 Coupe is a nicer version of the 370Z with back seats. I got my 2008 G37 4 years ago for $12.8k, best of luck!

I think your review has kept the target audience well in view. I've owned mine for 9 years. My recommendation is regardless of the mods, get a professional tune.

Under 15 000 USD and you made the video 3 years ago?
... i wouldn't recommend anybody getting that car for 15 000 USD.
For 370z a decent price is 20 000 USD. For 15 000 USD the seller might be hiding issues under the hood and those sellers are usually hoping for somebody inexperienced to buy the car.

The Nissan 370z, like any other car, has issues. You'd like the seller to bump into those issues before selling the car to you instead of you bumping into those issues after the seller sells the car to you. And when the seller bumps into those issues before selling the car, he'll most likely repair them and pump up the price a bit. For less than 15 000 USD you are not driving a Nissan 370z in a good condition unless you are very lucky, which you are not.

I have the base '17 model 6 spd. Bought it Jan '18. Boy the things racing in my head leaving the dealership. I love the car so much and in 5 years of ownership at 55k on the odometer, its breakin necks more than ever. It has a wing 19" enkei pf05 motordyne catback. Next up is r35 brake conversion then supercharger! Hahah gotta work more then ever hah

The convertible drives just as good as the coupe. I think it’s actually a much tougher choice to pick one over the other.

DO NOT get the convertibles. The mechanism that brings the top up and down is prone to fail. Very common.

I owned a BASE 2010 and by far one of the best cars (sports) I have owned and very cheap to take care of. That was 2012 when I sold it and have had a few other fun cars since then but I want one again. ASnything older than 2013 where they fixed the oil heat issue. That is critical. The Akibono Brakes are a must, the base brakes are garbage. I love the center dash with the GPS. That care does not look good with an aftermarket radio. That is what I am looking for and will just spend the rest of the cash as Z1 making it perfect.

I had a 2011 370Z for about a year and traded it for a Cadillac ELR hybrid. I moved into a condo with no place to plug in the Caddy, so I sold it and went back to a 370Z since I really loved the car, but today you would be very hard pressed to find one for less than $15K. Most of them pretty much bottom out at around the $25K mark, and newer models are around the $30K mark and above.

Bought a girl driven 2012 auto in great shape 73,000 miles from individual for 15000 for my wife. Cherry red coupe. Personally I think it’s super sharp. Puts me in mind of the 911 hot wheels cars I played with and loved as a kid.. Around where I live everyone has a mustang or Camaro..I don’t see any Z and I look for them so it POPS

Yup, I'm a Z'er! Owner of a 15 Sport Tech for the past 7 years and it's been a garage queen. Only 48K/mi and still in showroom condition. Magma Red Metallic and chrome Rays with Michelin Pilot 4S tires! Truly a sight-seeing event with those red brake calipers glittering going down the road. Carbon fiber everything inside even the flat bottom wheel by VQ. Blue overlay instruments by ADD-W1 including the 3 pods, Eittar throttle controller, Heads up display, a Vantrue N4 dash cam, and custom color matched shift knob. No mods as everything still factory spec and serviced. Has Navigation, Bose, mirror LED turn signals, heated leather seats, and tinted windows. This Z is strictly a cruiser and one of a kind. Truly a gem gives me no reason to sell. Very reliable as the only thing I had done was a differential O ring seal when the car was under warranty and cost me nothing.

I bought my 370Z Touring Coups Sports Package 9 years ago and with good maintenance, it looks and drives just like it always has.....great! I also put in a Stillen double cat exhaust system to raise the hp up to 350 and sound more raunchy. I must say that there has been no real problem mechanically although I am about to fix the loud "click" I get from the rear axle nut covers where the cotter pin clicks into it with acceleration and deceleration (but regularly heard when putting it into reverse). I cannot find factory advice as to whether this is really a problem but I am about to put a Kawasaki castellated axle nut on both axles to actually prevent future clicking. Nissan has never upgraded this flaw and I suppose it is because it is not a significant problem. Otherwise I am very happy with my Z and I had plenty of money to spend on other things since I did not buy a BMW, Porsche, or another very expensive sports car. Still, many non-sports car afficionados ask me if its a "Porsche". If it was any more powerful, I probably might have wrecked it.
