Did I get baited on a BRAND NEW build right on league start... PoE Ancestors

Not gonna lie, I am SO confused how this build even works. General's Cry specifies that it summons Mirage warriors that use an attack linked to it, but Corrupting Fever is a spell. What am I missing here?

I wonder if you could proc glad explode with this using generals cry or something.

Why Corrupting Fever? Isn't it just a weaker Corrupted Blood that's only applied by your Reap? Warcry alone can max stack after 3 cries.
