A 12at7 tube has less gain than a 12ax7 tube. Try it. A 12at7 tube seems to tame this beast beautifully. Love the channel btw.

It's true solid state amps will kill your ears. There is uneven shit coming out of the speaker.

no, i own it and i use it, if its not your sound hit it with eq pedal noise gate.. it FUCKING KILLS THOUGH A MESABOOGGIE 4 ,12 CAB ..ALSO WITH TONY PEPPERS DIRTY TREE BOOST ...FOR DOWN TUNING ................YOU NEED A BADASS SPEAKEAKER CAB. IMO. ...........AND I PAID 92 JEWDOLLARS... WELL WORTH THE SHECKELS?
