I imagine that this recipe would be much like beef stew recipes. I have noted over time that every family and every house make beef stew a little differently even if they follow the same recipe. This is really a good thing.
ОтветитьSome two thousand plus years ago while enjoying the years Tuh`u with some decent Mesopotamian beer you hear word of some Greek fellow named Alexander heading east.
ОтветитьThose veneers veneerin
ОтветитьI really want to see a lot of dishes from the distant past, like what they used to eat in the ancient era in India ( around 3500- 5000 years ago). I hope you could find recipes from the past and cook it and show us. Love your work and wish you more success ❤
ОтветитьLamb tail fat, specifically!
ОтветитьCumin is called Kammun in Arabic... Kammunum in Akkadyan.
ОтветитьI appreciate the attention to detail and I am very happy that Harvard was willing to help out to ensure even a recipe was accurate.
ОтветитьI think this is the first episode I watched (at least the first I remember watching). Now I'm rewatching it almost 3 years later and realize I never gave it thumbs up (oops). So, I just did.
ОтветитьTypo? Seriously? Your better than that.
Ответитьthis could be a stretch, but is there any chance samidu is dill? i believe its native to the region and in armenian we call it "samit", although the word itself i believe comes from arabic or persian (by way of arabic) because it sounds like its a semitic word and i believe they use a similar term in farsi.
ОтветитьI am Iraqi, and we call semolina Samid ! sounds like Samidu.
ОтветитьGarum?? in the bronze age?😮
ОтветитьYou ever see that video of the seal yelling “BLEG”

ОтветитьCumin in Arabic is cammun so I don't think the game of telephone was 4000 years old 😅
Love your content!
You know the Abrahamic God was based on Marduk? 'Tis true. Meaning neither are real.
ОтветитьHave you ever made something you didn't like? I'd love to see that episode!

ОтветитьCan we bring Babylonian rule back today, i reckon our leaders should receive an eye watering slap in the face every year, might make em behave better
ОтветитьIt is a borsht recipe. Just add water to stew.
Ответитьthis is literally how much a lamb costs now.. a leg of lamb could run you a hundred bucks or more..
ОтветитьIm gonna make this today!
ОтветитьEating is one of the greatest pleasures in life. So why not 4000 year's ago. Im sure Man has been spicing up food since the beginning of time. So glad I learned how to cook. Every meal can be gourmet. I feel sorry for the boxed microwave food crowd. They don't know what they are missing.
ОтветитьHow the heck did they get the entire Istar gate to Berlin?
ОтветитьChopped 😂
ОтветитьYour videos really help me w my depression
ОтветитьNow that you'll have garum of your own soon...
ОтветитьYou know, between your reveling in the whole Ninurta and Marduk thing herein, as well as your gleeful recitation of Judith/Holoforernes....feel like we are seeing a rather unexpected side of you, Max! Cheers! As always, thanks 😁
ОтветитьIm 99% sure that samidu is smeed سميد to thicken the soup
ОтветитьWho knew that crying on command was such an important skill for a king?
ОтветитьThis is the meal where I found about that cilantro has different taste based on your genetics. I made the meal according to the recipe, including chopped fresh cilantro leaves. I couldn't eat it. It was disgusting. It tasted of weird soap, almost choking me. My wife loved it. Then I found out that "Different people may perceive the taste of coriander leaves differently. Those who enjoy it say it has a refreshing, lemony or lime-like flavour, while those who dislike it have a strong aversion to its pungent taste and smell, characterizing it as soapy or rotten. Flavour chemists have found that the coriander aroma is created by a half-dozen substances, most of which are aldehydes. Those who dislike the taste are sensitive to the offending unsaturated aldehydes and, at the same time, may be unable to detect the aromatic chemicals that others find pleasant. Association between its taste and several other genes, including a bitter-taste receptor, have also been found." So, watch out when you make it if you don't use cilantro usually. Taste it before adding it.
Ответитьnice to fully accredit the scholar who assisted you in creation of this dish, thats class
ОтветитьAs of 2023, 668 Babylonians are mad about Max making this dish for New Year's (in Winter, not Spring).
ОтветитьMax, thanks for your entertaining and educational videos. I truly appreciate your great presentation. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьI heard a second shout-out to your channel on Styvhexenhamer666's Livestream
He said he was making this dish, earlier this week
I think " Samido" is semolina.
That's why water was mentioned.
They're eating Touhou? YOOOO!!!
ОтветитьI like that your pokemon changes every video. I've watched a few now and I am really jealous of your collection.
Ответить“samit/samid”, which sounds pretty similar to samidu means dill in armenian (not far from the area and used to stretch to, possibly border babylon), so maybe also an option?
Ответить“Samidu” is probably “Samit - սամիթ” aka dill 🌱
ОтветитьDoes anyone know of a good substitute for lamb? Lamb does bad things to me.
ОтветитьLove the name drop bit. So damn LA😂😂😂😂
Ответить
