Hello Jana and Brett, I am a Cambodian, I've watched some of your videos, and I really appreciate your job. You explained all the details about the Eurail pass and where to stay which are very helpful. Thank so much!
ОтветитьThank you for information absolutely love your video.
ОтветитьI love your videos and I am hoping to be able to book a consultation, but so far the only openings you have are during times that I work. I am planning on spending about 3 weeks in Switzerland next summer. Would you recommend 2 weeks in Wilderswil and 1 week in Murren or spending a week in each of the following towns Wilderswill, Murren and Grindelwald?
ОтветитьIf you want something quieter and less touristy but still close, I highly reccomend Darligen. Less than 10m bus ride to Interlakken and very easy access to Lake Thun.
ОтветитьTnx4sharing places to stay in Swiss Alps. Well narrated and easy to understand. Keep up the good work ✈️
ОтветитьI watch this vlog and would like to ask, if i stay in interlaken airbnb will thry still give me a free travel pass? Or only hotel gives free travel pass? Thanks
ОтветитьThank you so much for such an informative video. We have bought the 1 week guide and found it super useful to our plan. I hope you guy creat more guide so we can keep supporting you. Keep up the good work
ОтветитьAs a resident of Switzerland, I fully agree with your assessment
ОтветитьWho's favourite store is Aldi...?
ОтветитьHow important is it to learn German before heading to this area. It looks amazing
ОтветитьHow is the month of November weather wise ?
ОтветитьSight seeing in Switzerland is like having a nice long inter-course. You can easily forget how good was the climax and as soon you end you start craving for next session all over again.
ОтветитьHey great video. Are these places/ the alps In general to cold to stay in late December. I’m looking for a place in Europe to go in late December/ early January
ОтветитьSuper helpful! Thank you 😊 We're heading over for our first time & I'm thinking Interlaken might be best for us as we want to visit Lucerne, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen & Wengen while we're there.
ОтветитьI’m driving from Lake Como to Paris through 🇨🇭. I’m still undecided where to stay. We’re 4 Driving highway 2. I just want to sit relax and enjoy nature without selling arm and foot . Only two nights, not enough time to take trains or cable. Just stay in one spot
ОтветитьCan you help me please for recommendations Arb&b and hotel in Interlaken, we stay more less one week, thks
ОтветитьGreat video! Great info ... I will be visiting swiss in first week of oct but im not sure whether i will get waterfalls dried or watery! Also basic question, how yo carry our luggage while we travel in swiss.? Does cable cars allow us to carry the luggage with us ? Thanks in advance ❤
ОтветитьThanks for doing this video, this is really helpful for my next year trip to switzerland. I was hesitating where to stay in the jungfrau area until I found this video. You have done excellent works. Love your videos
Ответитьguys the swiss travel pass worth it?
ОтветитьThis is so detailed. Thank you for this video. I plan on taking a european vacation next month and Switzerland is my 2nd stop. You have helped me immensely. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьWe went to all these places on our trip June of last year. Wengen is the winner for me. The views were just breathtaking…as well as the hike
ОтветитьI have stayed in Gimmelwald and what an experience it was. Can’t wait to be back in this magical region. I have stayed both in Esther’s Guesthouse and Olle & Maria’s B&B in Gimmelwald.
ОтветитьThis is just 1 small region you are talking about, not the Swiss Alps....
Ответитьtoo much crowded ?
if more americans (noisy) visited the rocky mountains, we could be fewer in Europe
it would be nicer...
If I plan to go from Zurich to grindlewald stay 3 days visit first and other mountain hikes then down to Lucerne for a night and then back to airport which travel pass should I get does anyone know ?
ОтветитьPlease don’t stop making videos…your videos are informative, helpful and answer so many questions people are asking. Your like a lifeline! Thanks again!
ОтветитьPlease turn the appalling repeated background music off.
ОтветитьGreat!
ОтветитьI stayed 10 days in Wengen in November and hiked everyday before i started my remote work around 3-4pm. My house had a panoramic view of the entire Lauterbreunnen Valley where I almost walked there everyday (30-60 min walk). I enjoyed many breakfasts and did most of my work on the deck savoring the view. I hiked up to Eiger base and hiked to many directions around Wengen. Almost hiked to Grindelwald too but went out of time. I also hiked between Grütschalp, Wengen and Gimmerwald. Not to mention the many valley walks I did. Next time I'll considers staying in Gimmerwald. The entire village was closed when I went there except I got my self-serve beer from the store that ran the honor-system. Thanks for bringing me back my sweet memories.
ОтветитьCan anyone advise we are wanting to go end of aug or start Switzerland we are coming from Dublin so flying to Zurich as think it’s nearest alps . Really can’t decide where to stay and base ourselves . Want some restaurants and shops but overall I want the hikes and views .
ОтветитьHello. I love your videos and they are so helpful. I booked 3 night in Interlaken, but found a hotel, in Murren, on the side of a cliff. I want to see Grndelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and some other places, during my stay, but trying to determine if Murren is smarter to stay at verses Interlaken. Any tips, suggestions is appreciated. I'll have a rental car. Thanks so much for any tips/advise.
ОтветитьStop the background music!!!!!!!!! 🤯
ОтветитьI stayed in Murren this past September and coming back for 6 days in June with my wife. Using the half-fare card would be cheaper overall coming from the US and landing in Zurich, but my concern is that buying ticket on each trip would be cumbersome. BOP would be the next cheaper option at 100 CHF per person. Should I be too concerned with having to buy tickets and miss the next train ride? Using STP was so convenient the last time. BTW Murrren was incredible. I stayed on the main road with valley view and seeing Eiger and the whole mountain range from my balcony everyday was incredible.
ОтветитьI've seen all you videos about train pass ...
Still confused LOL. Because this is my frist time to swiss. Still cant decised thou
From Netherland to Zurich, and to iselwald
I booked airBnB in iselwald 3 nights and 2nights in Hasliberg
I want to visit Grindelwald first and jungfraujoch
Please what should i do
Thanks
Can't help reiterating how great your travel videos are! Sooooo informative and include sooooo much detailed information which is difficult to receive elsewhere! Really love your videos 💕
ОтветитьI m swiss citizen , I know well this region since my childhood , this reportage is really very good and well managed, very good observations and recommandations.
ОтветитьLoved this video. Will there still be any water flowing from the waterfalls in September? After seeing this video, really considering Grindelwald. Do you remember the street name of the place you stayed at? Enjoying all your videos as we plan for Rome and Switzerland. Thanks in advance for your response back.
ОтветитьBoring,too much words.
ОтветитьHi! I’m a new subscriber in your channel and I love all of your videos! ♥️♥️♥️ My family is planning to visit Interlaken, Switzerland and my husband usually rents a car whenever we’re on vacation since we have a toddler. So my question is.. is our US mobile data going to work in Switzerland when we use it for “Maps” installed in iPhone for navigation?
ОтветитьGreat video.... but that annoying incessant music in the background... why?
ОтветитьThank you for your help in planning our upcoming trip - such good info! AND I have a question… we’re you wearing Altra shoes?? My son worked in graphic design for their company, so we have been gifted a few pair :)
ОтветитьInterlaken is an amazing place 🙏🏻
ОтветитьTrains included on the tourist global pass?
ОтветитьWhat do you call that go kart thingy that comes down the mountain?
ОтветитьI visited the first week of April 2019 and used Interlaken as my base. You're right: it's pleasant enough but definitely on the touristy side. Having all the transportation links was a definite plus.
I did use my Swiss Pass to go to the Schilthorn on a Friday after about a meter of fresh snow had fallen in the Alps. It was nuts. There were tons of locals wanting to go skiing, so I had to wait over 90 minutes to get on the cable car going up the mountain. It was worth the wait.
I'm not sure if you ever spent any time on the south side of the Alps. I spent two nights in Fiesch and went up to Bettmeralp to view the massive Altesch Glacier and the other side of the Jungfrau. It was stunning.
Great video with tons of useful information.
I could not thank you enough for these videos you have made even though some people may think they’re old and boring but you had no idea for a beginner like I am. This’s meant the world to me and I kept watching a few times of each video. It shows how new I am to this region and I’m so lost and confused. And your vids have been so helpful and plus I love watching you guys talk. I felt the excitement come out of my screen. And you speak so clear for someone like me who don’t speak English as their first language. Thank you so much. I’m so grateful 🙏
ОтветитьGood information but why do you both speak so fast? What’s the rush?
ОтветитьPS: Swiss say Migro (not Migros). The "s" is silent ;-)
