ОтветитьIf i knew about these tips 8 years 10 years ago back in high school. I'm probably has a job as a software developer or game developer right now.
I was learning JavaScript in high school. I just take the class, do the assignment and did no practice. I did pass the class but then I have no idea wtf it is I thought in was stupid. So I quit.
so this was advice....dont mind me was expecting a workflow plan.
ОтветитьCs50 python course is garbage. They use this shitty code space instead of something like pycharm. Its crap, its horribly programmed, its an absolute waste of time. Do something els.
ОтветитьShould I learn html before I take my phthon course. Or is it better to just do one at a time
ОтветитьThis resonates so much with me because I agree with everything
ОтветитьIs the coursera course not free anymore?
Ответить🦎🦎🦎
ОтветитьI would like to learn AWS cloud but i don’t know where to start please make a video about this subject and do you prefer udemy courses to study ? .
ОтветитьThis is really great advice the only thing I would change is I would recommend doing a minimum of two hours a day if possible and it's purely because the first half hour you spend kind of fumbling around deciding what to do you don't actually spend time coding
Another thing to keep in mind is psychologically speaking if you have trouble getting to that second hour because you're frustrated to give you time to think and it allows you to build a Groove I want you to groove going you're going to want to keep coding and that's what you want you want that reward to trigger so you feel like you're accomplishing something I went from doing 90 minutes (15-20 Mins of deciding what I wanted to do) to 2-3 hours, and within a week, I wanted to code every day. I enjoyed it way more. It wasn't some choir, it was a hobby.
They teach you the same thing in music, 2 hours minimal, you can even split it, do an hour and come back later and work on what you started.
Outside of that, this has been the BEST advice video I've ever seen.
Also some of the courses on that site you mentioned give certifications which recruiters actually prefer you have it would give you a secondary goal to complete everything because if you don't pass all the tests you don't get to certification so it really makes you try.
I am learning python for 2 days, then I work on my portfolio website which is obviously HTML, css and javascript for 1 day, then python for 2 days. In between this I am studying for an diploma for software development. Hopefully after maybe 3 months of this routine daily I'll be able to move on to something like Go or maybe even swift 🤮
ОтветитьYou said it all
ОтветитьA very simple but useful tool I find when trying to avoid distraction when studying is set a goal, and if possible don't stop until you reach it.
But most importantly, make it achievable, make it easy, this is a marathon not a sprint so go easy with yourself.
I would set timers like practice for 30 minutes then take a 5 minute break, or read 10 pages of a textbook then take a 5 minute break.
Avoid setting goals that have the potential to blow out of proportion, they make you feel discouraged. Like if you say my goal is "Write a program that does X", you will often find you underestimate how long/difficult the task is and therefore will fail at meeting your goal.
That's good word "grinding"
ОтветитьChatGPT will put us all into oblivion💀💀💀
ОтветитьWhat kindof programming terminal do you use that I see on your laptop in the videos? File automator? Thank you for the usful info!!
ОтветитьA question if you do the CS50 course for Python, are you than an beginner or intermediate etc?
Ответитьis your course for beginners
?
everything is figureoutable.... hmm
ОтветитьWell that python for beginners by university of Michigan in coursera is now paid
ОтветитьLove From India 🇮🇳❣️
ОтветитьThis is all common sense with an ad 🤦🏾♂️
Ответитьjustify your position, give a neutral single source apart from affiliate source
ОтветитьBuy a bigger shirt buddy
Ответитьwhat is the difference between Udemy Vs ZTM trying to decided if i should start Python - Zero to Master on Udemy or on ZTM ?
ОтветитьZero to mastery course for web dev was really bad for me the html/css part felt rush the same with javascript. I stopped at DOM manipulation part because it was real hard to understand but the amount of "you do this for this" or "we are gonna do this" in the videos was so to much for me, it give it me a bitter taste and made me not wanted to touch html/CSS. I want to learn python but please can i get someone give me other resource?
ОтветитьThank you very much!
ОтветитьI'd add replits 100 days of Python
ОтветитьI watched tutorials and did some bootcamps, even some of cs50, i know various tools but everytime i see a problrl i just cant solve it, like i dont know how to use the tools, every single tutorial tells you what the things do but no how to use them... I dont know what to do
Ответитьyep, i agree, you only lerarn when u start applyting it to your own use cases. Also, remember to take notes during your course videos.
ОтветитьI was really hoping once you spun around on the chair at the start after that intro. You would be like "Done!!" ;D that fast
ОтветитьYour attitude and mentally is having a positive effect on me, thanks buddy!
ОтветитьGreat content. I am new to the area. I am a business graduate but starting a master in data analytics next month. I know the basics now, wish me luck !
Ответитьi like the mindset, i think i will use ChatGPT though
ОтветитьInstead of learning another language how about teaching us to use chatGPT AI to do it for us?
Ответитьen 2023.. damn you learned python in 2023 6 months ago? impressive 😅
Ответить
