Nintendo clearly want to be hated this lawsuit is so stupid
ОтветитьIt’s not about the money, it’s about shutting down Palworld. Nintendo are scummy
ОтветитьAt this point, why not just boycott Nintendo games to prove a point. It’s no secret that AAA games these days are shit, even the few good ones they produce in the modern day are barely passable as enjoyable. Creativity is a dying concept. The second someone finally does something fun and creative, others all seem to wanna crush it and call it heretical in some fashion. Personally I can’t fathom the logic big wigs have. They have more money then they know what to do with, but they always want more. And don’t want anything or anyone to outshine them.
ОтветитьBig brain move by Pokemon company. Wait until Palworld makes a fortune and then sue them.
ОтветитьY'all need to quit acting like Palworld didn't steal Nintendo's shit. They really did. Lol. I get it though, they did it better. I had to buy it!!! I'm hooked.
ОтветитьI hope Nintendo gets shut down permanently.
Im a massive palworld supportor
It is better for palworld to fight and take it on. This lawsuit will affect other games out there.
Ответитьthis is o the verge of monopoly
ОтветитьMake it short. I hope pokemon (Nintendo) loose in this. Cause they don't got a leg to stand on here
Ответитьa new switch being made and new games are gonna be released for it. everyone should just skip it and enjoy pc and palworld. nintendo has stomped on creativity and we are better then that. let nintendo fall and be the better person and support palworld NOT nintendo.
ОтветитьI use to be a huge fan of nintendo games from the nes to the gamecube. Then I stopped, and over time they just seemed to get worse and worse.
Honestly if nintendo wins this will send a message that anyone can do this and patent mechanics they didn't even invent and stop others from using them. Locking mechanics is horrible for gaming as a whole as it stiffles creativity.
Honestly Nintendo is the big bully bullying the little kid for his lunch money
ОтветитьDidn't palworld try to sue pokemon because pokemon was going to have pokemon's with guns?
Ответитьman f Nintendo fr fr!
Ответитьthis kinda makes me think of wanting to avoid pokemon at all costs so bye bye pokemon go
ОтветитьHow they kill everybody says the case is still going on
Ответитьjust a giant corporation being greedy and trying to monopolize how something looks to maintain their piece of the pie. pokemon has been going down hill for years and now that they actually have a competitor they want to sue them into oblivion. so disgusting. make better games and you wont have to worry about being bad at your job and losing money.
ОтветитьThis is absolutely disgusting. Also it's really sad that I cannot backup my legitimately purchased Switch games and put them on my Steam Deck just because I don't wanna carry two freaking systems everywhere I go. It's not like I'm selling said games. I mean outside of my mysteriously vanishing copy of Breath of the Wild, I still keep both of my Switch consoles and all of my games unless I realize I don't like the game and get rid of it.
ОтветитьI was sad it wasn't also released on ps5 until they said so, and I do have it, and since the games release and seeing people play it, I still say Palworld is Pokemon, but with guns🤣and I love Pokemon games, by the way, and I love Palworld. I can only play one of them on PlayStation, though.
ОтветитьI have way too many opinions about this but is interesting one of the biggest companies in the world is suing over money I can make over the course of a year. I so wish that some of the older a smaller companies that did some of these supposedly patented actions first would actually take part in the Looney Lawsuit Race and give Nintendo a good kick in the AZ$ / Wake up call and let it be known there not the first game company to do a lot of the stuff they supposedly Have Patents 4 🤔😮💨💀🤦
ОтветитьThere can only be one 🥇
ОтветитьHope Nintendo looses. And then their patents should be nulled. This is sick.
Cheers.
lol wow catches battle pets.
ОтветитьYou know when i look at palworld I'll admit that i see some comparisons to Pokemon but i see more similarities to ark
ОтветитьMaybe if Pokémon wasn’t a lazy ass company now then they wouldn’t have a popular knockoff doing what the fans have been wanting 🤷♂️
ОтветитьPal world did something they haven’t done yet. Give players actual freedom. Leave em alone. Make us a good game!
Ответитьbruh they are doing the lawsuit at a such a small amount is just to see if They CAN get away with it before doing it with other companies
ОтветитьNintendo was also the company that gave SML a cease and desist
ОтветитьI think we have ourselves to blame. If everybody and their grandma didn’t make so much noise about it being like Pokemon, PocketPair probably wouldn’t be getting sued to possible termination. Also wasn’t there a law that said that if a mechanic was used for over 20 years, it becomes public domain?
ОтветитьThey are only asking for 60k which won't be enough to kill the game lol.
Ответитьso is Nintendo going to sue blizzard entertainment for pet battles and mounts next? where does it end? there's tons of games that would be breaking Nintendo's patent going back decades
ОтветитьSounds like they are at the death's door.
Ответитьmounting system...
(insert every chocobo remix theme song)
The Pokémon franchise has implemented gameplay elements like land, air, and water mounts, and monster capture mechanics, which are also found in other series such as Final Fantasy*, *Kingdom Hearts*, *Dragon Quest Monsters*, and *Monster Rancher*. These features are not unique to Pokémon, yet criticism of newer games like *Palworld suggests selective targeting. Palworld poses a genuine competitive threat, challenging industry norms by emphasizing quality over incomplete releases. This disrupts the publisher's complacency, rooted in legacy pride, and underscores the consumer demand for higher standards and innovation in gaming.
ОтветитьMan if Pokemon wins, im done with anything Nintendo related, be it games, hardware or otherwise, they can burn for all i care at this point, I reallllllly hope Palworld Wins this and becomes even greater of a hit than it already is lol :D
ОтветитьIt's funny Nintendo. Will go this far did they forget who the original Pokémon were copied from 😂
ОтветитьSo technically, Nintendo can sue Call of Dutys Game Mode Klll confirmed, since you can thrown an object (like granate) and the you can capture the tag: -P
The patents are so general it is beyond stupidity that they even got accepted. Also the mounting part is so old and uses in hundreds if not tousands of games way before the patent.
The fighting with monsters is also used in other games before, even Genshin had a kind of miniquest with stuff like that.
Competition is what Nintendo needed the most, since the last Pokemon games bring nothing new.
If they win this, i will never touch a pokemon game again
That's the worst lawsuit I have ever seen pokemon sues palworld for $66,000.00. This definitely the worst court case that Nintendo came up with. Nintendo wasted a ton of money on the worse court case.
ОтветитьBut weren’t all of japan smiling and clap when there big bad mario grandma kisser was going after big bad palworld to be stomped on… it was a smiling great day… did you not think it had consequences…
ОтветитьYou can't release a console with the processing power of 4 toasters and have the audacity to sue someone who made an actual unique looking game.
ОтветитьI have a Question: is Steam has a Pokémon game?
ОтветитьNintendo sues the average guy for millions but not another company 😂
ОтветитьScrew Pokémon and Nintendo. Let them protect their property but leave someone else's property alone.
ОтветитьAfter the embarrassing state Scarlet and Violet was released in, Nintendo should just shut the F up and put some effort into Pokemon again. Which they don't want to because the games are dwarved by merchandise sales.
ОтветитьBro…this is ridiculous…
Digimon should sue Pokemon for Mega Evolution then if they're going to be this damn petty…😑
The point of the lawsuit is just to make palworld pay the 66k. Then, snowballs companies being bullied by Nintendo. Keep in mind that this lawsuit is in Japan. Both companies are from there. Laws are completely different. Don't believe everything you hear from online
ОтветитьNah Nintendo suing for patent is bullshit but Nintendo if they had of sued for copyright infringement i would have supported them in this because there are BLATANT direct rip offs in character models that they rightfully should have been sued over.
Ответить66k? so close to 69k , they can't even meme it ...
Ответитьgo check miraibo go the same exact copy of palworld and it's become quite. there will be competition but you need to outclass everyone to survive. I am a player of both the games. Each has its own specialization.
ОтветитьScariest moment of my life…..
Ответить
