No BS with this judge. He's straight to the point...and firm, but knows when something shady is being tried. He even dropped "words of wisdom" to try to help those people.
All class, and very professional.

I loved how he took care of that first case. He knew that there was something weird going on and shot right through it to give that young man a chance to not be a statistic of others.

One thing he said that really surprised me and that I disagree with was when he said to that young man “The world is against you.” That was an irresponsible and inappropriate statement, not to mention untrue.

While I like some of his judgements I’m pretty concerned at the number of PR bonds I’ve seen him give to people with very serious violent charges. For those that don’t know a PR bond is a free bond. Houston which is in Harris County has had an insane violent crime spike in the last 4 years.

Dude, you gave a PR bond to someone who allegedly shot up a house? No wonder the murder rate is so crazy in this city.

Watching these cases encourages me to do better and consciously be a better law abiding citizen. It is important and will make sure our community stays safe.
