It is a fake head on a stick. He doesn't jump up on the couch at all. I remember seeing this on TV when it first aired. The right hand on the cloth in front of him is a fake hand which free's up his right hand to do the trick. It is simply old school magic. But, he is funny and even after 20yrs or so I still enjoy watching it. Thanks for posting it. I had all but forgotten him until he showed up on AGT this year.
