Hi all
ОтветитьHi Sarah, thank you for your great video. I just want to know what are those green and orange dot that was on the diagram?i was asking this because other nurses and doctors don’t do full lung auscultation, there only check on some landmarks.
ОтветитьI'm surprised nurses learn this. The nurses who I have encountered throughout my life have been pretty incompetent with their medical knowledge. Although I suspect that's primarily because almost all nurses in my country are foreigners using it to get citizenship by exploiting the medicare system here. They often would not pass high school level science, let alone speak English at a primary school level. Very often scandals are uncovered where they purchase their papers and theses, to the tune of tens of thousands of students in each sting.
ОтветитьJust found this, going through the motions of becoming a RN. Currently training to be a cna so i can go to lpn and above.. this has been amazing so far and i will be using this for my future endeavors. Thank you!
ОтветитьHi Sara. Hope you and family are doing well. Even after passing the NCLEX three years ago, I still keep watching your videos. It keeps my knowledge refreshed. And I always tell everyone, that I completed my nursing school and I passed my NCLEX because of your wonderful informative videos. Thank you so much to you and family. Because even your little one also helps us to learn pediatric videos.❤

ОтветитьI wish my teacher taught like you. She flies through everything and explains nothing. I feel so lost in class
ОтветитьI'm so grateful for all of your videos, they're really helping me through nursing school!
ОтветитьSo helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьThat's very nice what you explain here, but i'm afraid that in most countries is not taken really in consideration.
Reason being is that in most countries, nurses don't have enough legal power to make specific clinical judgement, and this translates that even if you do a brilliant auscultation, must be double checked by doctors. No surprise that most of the nurses don't even know how to give a name to these sounds( maybe except stridor), after all, why bother learning these sounds and make an extra task if at the end of the day nobody cares.
Thank you so much. Your videos are excellent:)
ОтветитьThank you Sarah !

ОтветитьWell done. I used to work on a thoracic floor and understanding the terms rhoni and crackles always confused me. Your video helped to differentiate the terms. The anatomy explanations were great!
