Wii Sports Resort Deserved Better

The wii had me cursing the day it came out, I worked at a Micro Center when these freaking things came out. The amount of Wiis that Nintendo gave us were miniscule and every Karen wanted to yell at me and every dad wanted to fight me.

One time, while baked, I fired up this game and did island flyover. Extremely fun but I started noticing some strange bits of information around the ruins, cave, and volcano. I was convinced that there was a Dark conspiracy on the island where people were living beneath the ruins and were going to use the caves to destroy the towns with lava. I don’t remember all the detail but I showed it to my friends and they all thought I was onto something.

This might be the single most nostalgic video game for me. It makes me long for a similar experience combining both Wii Sports (Resort was the last good one) and Wuhu Island (Resort was the last good one). But I also realize that maybe it's OK we don't have a new one. We'll always have this one.

This is a great video! I always loved doing the Island Run and following the cat guides to get the different routes. I only remember seeing a couple, but apparently there were eight in the basic run plus. This game has so much nostalgic appeal to it

I remember I got Wii Sports Resort for my 6th birthday, 2 days after I broke my arm, and I was so happy to get a game I could play with one hand. It's a masterpiece.

You guys really did bowling dirty in this video. Its so much better than normal wii bowling. 100 pin!!?? You guys didn't even mention it! My 54 year old dad who only ever played pac man played 100 pin so much he was unbeatable. I once rage quit playing with him and he played for both of us and got like 14 strikes in a row
