He should definitely be our second string. I would have faith in him if Kirk goes down. He should succeed Kirk when his contract is up.

I know this preseason stuff but Sloter is so chill with no nerves what so ever in the pocket. And you can see that he can feel how much power he needs to put into a throw at certain times. Damn vikings straight lucky they were able to get this guy. He could turn out to be really good even against a starting defense.

The NFL's loss is the New USFL and the New Orleans Breakers gain. Hopefully this kid shines and gets a fair chance with an NFL team. I realize the talent level of the New USFL in not anywhere close to the NFL but if this kid shines and looks good it still can't hurt his chances. I am rooting for him and the Breakers all the way.

For Sloter the USFL will be like the deep part of NFL preseason football so at that level of play this young man should excel.
