Whatever humans do to extract energy from nature will have a direct negative impact on the environment when you follow the supply chain.
ОтветитьHow high is the electric field in cars, and what about long term exposure to the human body.
ОтветитьThis video needs to be re-named: What EV batteries are made of
ОтветитьThis have anything to do with Barack Obama him having ties in Indonesia from his daddy being in bed with the CIA with the assassination squads back in the 60-70’s. He was in bed with Bush senior who was at the time director of the CIA. There is a picture of 8 year old Obama with Bush Sr. having his arm around him back in the day. Obamas adoptive dad was one of the richest men in my understanding in the world or at least Southeast Asia. Obama gets 1/3 rd of the estate from his dead stepfather and it’s held in a trust fund in Indonesia. That way the funds are not required to be reported to the United States government. If he’s in bed with the Bushes we know that’s not good. Grandpas Bush held money for the Nazis from WWII helping them acquire steel for their war machine!!! Research people!!!!! This is my interpretation of the evidence I’ve uncovered !!!!!! Allegedly this is true!!!!!
ОтветитьSave the planet: bring back horses.
ОтветитьCharging station to connection of free energy .
ОтветитьThe Vanadium Redox Flow battery was suppose to fix this.
The US spent Millions on the research to build it, and mysteriously sent it to China. 🤔
Agriculture, education and religion
ОтветитьEVs are not zero emission, we are moving the pollution to the other side of the world , the earth moving machines are using humongous amount of fuel (diesel), the transportation trucks , the trains , ships etc.. are using fossil fuel to bring the cobalt and lithium to factories to make the batteries and the environmental effect of earth moving causes serious impact on people and their environment and not mentioning child labor
ОтветитьThis has nothing to do with how a battery is made; it's just high-horse preaching about how battery bad.
ОтветитьThese cobalt n nickel minings need better regulations. There are many good examples of other materials successfully regulated minings
ОтветитьSo...
How are all the folks who live in apartment blocks , terraced housing and other 'alternative' housing options going to charge their shitboxes...?
Who is going to buy all the 'Only Charging To Eighty Percent, Previously Loved, Shitboxes From Hell'...?
Where are are the depleted Kraptonite Shitboxes From Hell going to be ' Rehashed '...?
Not really thought this through have you Borises?
Electric cars are a massive environmental disaster. Why would you buy one?
ОтветитьWe're going to have to mine the asteroid belts.
ОтветитьThe title are really far from topic !!
ОтветитьIt's self explanatory.
ОтветитьIt's ridiculous, these are more toxic then oil runners, nothing on this in the media news, a prize winner of a news story. These countries are bowing and destroying themselves for the US . Maranatha
ОтветитьTesla claims a lot of things, but seldom deliver.
ОтветитьCobalt is a variant if Lithium lol. Its a f...in element. This vid is 90% bollocks. Obviously some vid making bot just making money from clicks .
ОтветитьThe question should be, how many batteries are recycled and not buried in the desert
Ответить"The raw material used i making these battery is Lithium and its variants. These variants include Cobalt, Nickel, [...]"
Those are not "Lithium variants", those are *different elements*
The title is misleading. Wanted to know how and what is used to mine the minerals needed for lithium batteries, not how it’s used or manufactured to be used in EV. There was a brief comment on the environmental dangers to the mining of minerals needed but nothing in detail. Here’s below a description of how these minerals are extracted from the ground and why we will be in a worst danger to the environment:
A large machine is required to move 500 tons of earth/ ore which will be refined into one lithium car battery. It burns 900-1000 gallons of fuel in a 12-hour shift.
Lithium is refined from ore using sulfuric acid. The proposed lithium mine at
Thacker Pass, Nevada is estimated to require up to 75 semi-loads of sulfuric
acid a day! The acid does not turn into unicorn food as AOC believes.
Refining lithium has created several EPA SUPERFUND SITES. IT IS VERY TOXIC TO THE ENVIRONMENT!
A battery in an electric car, let’s say an average Tesla, is made of :
25 pounds of lithium,
60 pounds of nickel,
44 pounds of manganese,
30 pounds of cobalt,
200 pounds of copper,
and
400 pounds of aluminum, steel, and plastic, etc......
averaging 750-1,000 pounds of minerals, that had to be mined and processed
into a battery that merely stores electricity... Electricity which is generated by
oil, gas, coal, or water ( and a tiny fraction of wind and solar )...
That is the truth, about the lie, of "green" energy.
There’s nothing green about the "Green New Deal".
You people better learn how to vote or this nonsense will continue to flow down on top of you from the throne of government upon of which you put these people.
Stop drinking the Green New Deal’s sulfuric acid Kool-Aid!

Hey, let's replace one problem with three more problems.
ОтветитьThey are some Cobalt! Excavating Som Britches!.
ОтветитьEVs cause more pollution than gasoline if we consider total supply chain system
ОтветитьLets look at just 7% of a current EV battery - lithium. A ton requires 500 tons of ore and 500,000 gallons of water to be refined. In 2022, Lithium production was 130,000 tons - total ore 65, million tons, and 65 BIllion gallons of water. How much CO2 to move that? If half the lithium was used for cellphones etc - you could only make 6 Million Y size battery packs. Opps there are 1.4 billion light vehicles and 100 million sold annually - So is it possible to get to 500 million lithium EVs? No and even if you could the C02 used to dig it up and process and manufature is all very non Eco friendly - this was just Lithium. There is Cobalt, manganese, copper, nickel, and a dozen other materials that need mining before your 4500 lb EV gets built.
ОтветитьIs lithium mining bad for the Environment?
Though emissions deriving from mining these two elements are lower than those deriving from fossil fuels production, the extraction methods for lithium and [cobalt] can be very energy intensive – leading to air and water pollution, land degradation, and potential for groundwater contamination.
4 minutes in and I’m done. They should rename this video to-how to drop in political propaganda under the guise of a ev battery creation tutorial.
ОтветитьEV Batteries are made of recyclable lithium.
ОтветитьAi ve ny batterie an'ny EV miainga avy aty tanàna e ??
ОтветитьAn interesting video. However, you don't tell us how ev batteries are made.
ОтветитьMissing here is the mining of these minerals which use FOSSIL fuel still duh.
ОтветитьHERE IN BRAZIL WE HAVE 93% OF THE MINERALS USED TO MAKE LITHIUM BATTERIES, AND WE ARE ONE OF THE LESS DEVELOPED COUNTRIES WE DON'T HAVE ANY BRAZILIAN NATIONAL CARS, WE HAVE 94% OF THE WORLD'S NIOBIUM , WE HAVE 5% OF GLOBAL URANIUM AND WE HAVE NO NUCLEAR BOMBS ,WE HAVE THE 3rd LARGEST RESERVE OF GLAPHENE IN THE WORLD WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH TO MAKE THE BRAZILIAN ARMY THE MOST POWERFUL IN THE WORLD, MAKING IT MORE POWERFUL THAT IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO DESTROY THE AIRCRAFT AND TOIRED TRUCKS
ОтветитьEV's are not the answer. The carbon foot print they leave is just as high, if not higher than gas powered cars.
Ответитьhi, i know a place in my home country. Currently no one have found the area yet. under this big mountain valley, there are many of raw lithium stone and ore there. back in the 70s i used to have a rice farm there on the side of the hill and wonder what are those weird stone. after the war i came to USA but i peeking on the place from time to time and no one have went to that forest area yet. Is there who i can contact to sell this secret or start a mining business.
ОтветитьWe're the fuck it's Hana Greenberg ... Look people this your electric car made. Very eco friendly 🎉
ОтветитьOkay but serious and literally and actually: if the entire world used solely electric everything: Stove, ovens, cars, fridge and say all of gasoline/propane/petroleum didn’t exist anymore, wouldn’t we fry up the entire world? There has to be a catch and the possibility of fire has to rise dramatically?
To every solution, there’s always another risk. I’m not trying to be a downer. I’m just trying to understand fully what exactly why we are trying to go full electric.
Child labor isn't evil if done correctly. My first job was at 12, and I worked a very limited number of hours per week and learned a lot about on-the-job responsibility.
ОтветитьStupid video
ОтветитьThere was hardly anything about EV battery manufacturing in this video
ОтветитьELECTRIC CARS ARE NOT ECO FRIENDLY AT ANY TIME IN THEIR LIFE, from START to end they are a DISASTER. Worth nothing when older, and become a problem FAR FAR MORE than and conventional vehicle. The batteries can and DO self destruct and cause 2000c flame and EXTREMELY TOXIC SMOKE being emitted. You have to be dumb or stupid to not realize they are not PLANET SAVING at ANY TIME, TREDY THOUGH and they make money for a few PEOPLE WHO WANT TO CONTROL YOU. Covid 19 is a VIRUS and followers of electric vehicles have caught a disease which consumes them.
ОтветитьThink this is bad? Wait until you hear about internal combustion
ОтветитьEco-friendly my foot why don’t you tell the world how dangerous they are once they’re spent and no longer hold a charge
ОтветитьJust goes to show the ones who complain about my diesel burning vehicles are the ones who are polluting to world much more quickly with their cobalt battery using junk for cars. I’ll stick with my fossil fuel burner. Besides the new gas engines have so much emissions controls on them they don’t emit no where near the pollution they once did. In fact all new fossil fuel burners are actually very clean burning engines. And they are constantly improving the efficiency of them each year.
ОтветитьThey never seem to mention the most dangerous chemicals used in these batteries. They are always called the other chemicals. Big Brother will even delete comments that mention one of these specific chemicals. If you google p F a s (< had to write it this way) chemicals used in Lithium-ion Batteries, you find the real problems.
ОтветитьThe big lie: EVs and green energy
ОтветитьCobalt mining from Congo is enough reasons to boycott E-cars and even banned it fro selling. Shame on everyone put his hand and support those exploiting greedy and double-stranded vehicles companies just to be rich and collect more money. The primary problem actually and feel shame to the customers who is buying those cars and making them even richer. The main devil who's working on Th background is the Governments all over the world as always.
ОтветитьThis is a very slanted and silly video. Why not actually show the process of making the battery instead of a hit job that seems politically motivated, etc. Also, let’s get real about what happens with fossil fuel extraction. If you think lithium mining is destroying the ecosystem, take a look at fracking and coal mining.
ОтветитьWhat a crappy video, it does not show the process of how EV batteries are made
Ответить
