ОтветитьThank you Mari! I keep forgetting the measurements and i make too much 🤣 but this is perfect! Gracias ❤
ОтветитьAfter watching this video I went and made the maizena and it was delicious!
ОтветитьThe whisk is key for Maicena, I stirred with a wood spoon this morning but im not as skilled as my grandma was and about 10 lumps bumped my tastebuds... I love the corn starch add in, great consistency this morning
ОтветитьWhat is your favorite type of Puerto Rican CREMA?! mine is 1. Avena de Arroz (Goya) 2.) Avena de Maiz 3. Maicena (your version now) 4.Farina, but you really need to be on cutting edge here, no lumps for farina, thin but not watery not thick.
ОтветитьI absolutely love this recepie. I haven't made it in awhile and found your channel and it was so easy so delicious and tastes like my grandma used to make it thank you 😊
ОтветитьI always make it and think yes no clumps then I dig in and there’s 100 😭 clumps
ОтветитьI made it and it was delicious, Thank you 😊 🌹🍀
ОтветитьI just made it! OMG, sooo good! My mom used to make this for me and, of course, I never learned how to make it until I saw your video. Thank you!
ОтветитьGracias por la receta. Se la voy a hacer a mi esposa ahora mismo 😊
ОтветитьThis brought me right back to my childhood in PR when my abuela would make “Cremitas” for breakfast. Thank you for the nostalgia.
ОтветитьI will try this one. I tried your Arina de maiz and it was delisj.
ОтветитьI'm going to try this tomorrow morning
ОтветитьBeing Spanish my mom would make this for me and my sibling as kids. Now I make it for my husband. He isn't spanish and he loves it. 😂😊
ОтветитьI love your recipes they are easy to follow and tasty.
ОтветитьI remember my abuelita making this for me. I now care for my mom 24/7 I couldn’t remember all the ingredients just the sprinkle of canela. I referred to your video so I can make it for my querida madre. Warmed my ❤️, that when she saw her breakfast she said ahí mami (abuelita). Thank you for helping me bring back a beautiful memory for my querida madre DTB 🙏🏼🥰
ОтветитьMy father used to make this for us when I was growing up. I remember him always adding an egg also. 🤷🏼♀️
ОтветитьHaz la receta en español.
ОтветитьHad this for the first time yesterday from a local PR bakery and my life has been changed 😅 thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьAwe, hi to your special little helper 🥰
ОтветитьAll I have to say is thank you. My grandma passed last year and this was my emotional support dish since she made it for me all the time. This was the perfect recipe. Thank you so much.

ОтветитьHow much maizena do you use in this recipe?
ОтветитьMy mom made this for me as a kid . We’re portuguese
ОтветитьGracias!!! I grew up eating this (obviously like a good PR), but unlike a good PR (lived away from PR for a few years lol)…. I looked at the packet y dijeeee: how am I supposed to make this!!?
I’m going to make this tomorrow morning!

ОтветитьBendiciones!
My granddaughter would love this! I’m too Puerto Rican, there are just certain foods that I’m clueless.. maizena, my titi used to make it. Thank you Mari for sharing your time with us. Now I can look up certain recipes that I remember growing up, that I just did not know how to make! Thank you again for the authentic Puerto Rican food! Weeepppaaaa!! Que viva Puerto Rico 🇵🇷! God Bless you
Omg just like my mama used to do exactly thanks so much

ОтветитьWhat if it's for 3 people? How much do I add for each ingredient?
ОтветитьI made this kinda lumpy but strained it. My 8yo saw me take 1 little taste and he ran away with it 😂
ОтветитьDon’t forget the egg yolk 😊
ОтветитьOmg just made this recipe and it was perfect Thank You
ОтветитьMy mom used: 1 cup milk, 1 T cornstarch, 1 egg yolk & 1 T sugar.
ОтветитьCould you make a video on doing this for a large group, please 😊🙏🏼💙 I'm not sure about the portions and ingredient amounts.
ОтветитьSecond time trying to make the maicena. With your recipe it turned out delicious
