I agree with almost everything you pointed out but unfortunately I don't think TCM is better then Horizon yet. I'm not a hater, I actually like the game but it needs improvements to be the best. The handling is dumb, cars are on rails, feels like they have no weight, you loose control unpredictably sometime and drifting it's not smooth. The map although good it's empty and honestly even tc2 had more lively features (no those ghost cars/open world races are just annoying). Sounds are very good, with nice bass and some richness to it, but also it feels very processed and unnatural sometimes. I HATE the way you mechanically upgrade a car, rng in a car game is stupid. The camera fov although very dynamic (love the shaking effects and boost) it's way too low and sometimes obstructs your vision. Some visuals are not worthy of 2023 standards, low polygon textures and almost inexistent shadows or reflexions in some areas. We need more vehicles and make the same car be configurable on which spec you want, we don't need the same car model as a drag/race/drift variant, those are not 3 different cars imo and should not count to the pool of vehicles, just add the car and spec it later how you prefer,( I want 200 individual car models, not 500 but some of them are duplicates). There are more but those are the ones that botherme the most.

You don’t have to actually go to the festival to buy cars you just go to the menu and buy any car in motor fest im pretty sure

well their is a downgrade with something, and its abit weird, like riders no longer get dirty when you drive through the jungle on a bike, which is abit weird considering how overdone that was in the crew 2, where just driving through the desert got you covered in mud, yet in motorfest where you drving through a hawaian swamp, theirs not a spec of mud on you

even in the buggies where half the cockpit is open to the elements, and that is across all versions too.

Are the mirrors so blurred because thats just how it is, or because of your settings?

And the shipping container scene where u get a new car is purely ripped out of nfs heat mobile app

the worst thing about the crew's (all 3 games) is that the body customisation doesn't affect performance in any way where as in forza even body cusotmization has an effect on the car's performance

iIf there's one thing I really hate about Forza Horizon games is the panning camera. When looking at the car from the front literally you can't see half of the car because it's too forward. It gets even worse when driving fast.... It's sooo bad and here and Motorfest just perfect!!! FORZA PLEASE TAKE A NOTE AND FIX IT IN THE NEXT SERIES!!!

Forza was locked behind an Xbox.. with PS being the SUPREME... Winks and waits for people to have a melt down It is nice to have a game for us PS players to enjoy. Turns out, we got a big map, great cars, amazing graphics and so much more

This is more like a GTA game instead

Okay lets get two things clear.

1. I like motorfest and think its way more fun than Forza Horizon 5.
2. It is ABSOLUTELY a clone of FH5. Crystal clear that Ubisoft decided to just take FH5 and make it better, and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I actually think its more damaging to pretend that they didn't clearly copy it. They did, with intention. That was the entire point lol. They wanted to make The Crew's equivalent and not only did they succeed, but they FAR exceeded the quality of FH5.

Now lets get another thing clear: They kinda lied about crossplay. You cant invite other platforms, only stumble upon them accidentally. its really lame. They need to fix that because I can see cross platform friend names, but cant invite them.

These two just need to come together and make an outrageously good open world driving/racing game.

It does feel a lot like FH5?? Bro you on drugs or what? FH5 has the map and the depth in game way more better then Motorfest in all kinds of ways, and check the quality it looks like im playing lego game and not real world game. Bro forza is built different.

I can't believe they didn't put exhaust backfire flames on the cars .. like come on and you can't even do a proper donut in this crew ... that's unacceptable in 2023

only slight let down about the game is that i feel like they could've done a bit better with the graphics. Mirrors dont work, reflections can look really washed out and rough and the light just passes into the car when you are driving at night

It's clearly a forza horizon clone though, they literally dumped their own concept and stole the entire festival idea haha. That being said that's probably a great thing because even though I don't like arcade racers usually, it will challenge Forza to reinvent themselves as their last 3 games have been basically the same with a new map. Finally some challenge for them, and in the end we gamers are the winners
