"Oay Lahy e", "Raha Misy Potraka", "Iasitera", these are different titles for the same song.
This song tells a story that took place in Ambatonakanga, Antananarivo, there was a slave called Iasitera, who once freed, wanted to be transported by other slaves like him before. However, the "mpilanja" porters knocked it down on purpose and people laughed at Iasitera and so the song was born.

The song was popularized by Razafimahefa Betsinjaka and the group Mpilalaon'I Fenoarivo, who chose it to record it during the 1931 Paris Colonial Exhibition on a 78 rpm record. Rakotomavo Germain's performance uses the "Maty Efatra" tuning, in the guitar style of the highlands of Madagascar.
