My dog stop biting only for a 1 min 😂
ОтветитьWhat is that hammer he plays with
ОтветитьHow wee stop a cocker spaniel puppy 7 months from jumping and biting she gets to exiting when someone coming in our house many thanks
ОтветитьWhat is the correct age to start training your dog. My puppy is now 1.5 month
ОтветитьPlease show how you stop biting on 3 year old grand child.
ОтветитьIt was perfect ❤
ОтветитьIf we could all get our dogs to “stop biting in seconds” this video wouldn’t be 11 and a half minutes long
ОтветитьReally reaching for that 11 minute runtime, huh?
ОтветитьI think it just worked for me but waiting if he does it again to use the active method again for reassurance on my 1.5 year old poodle puppy. Very active and morning is worse. He’s more obedience with my husband than me but yet my husband is the one who gets him going and not consistent with training. Can’t wait to watch the leash walking lesson
ОтветитьWhich size Fenrir hammer are you using in this video? I have an 11 week of Labrador and want to get him one but I am unsure which size to buy.
ОтветитьI find your methods to be incredibly well done. I've seen training done that is "balanced" or mostly correction based and the corrections often seem harsh and not really paired with positive reinforcement. I've also seen positive only done and think that it is incredibly frustrating, hard to time right and can end up producing some really bad behavior. Every animal will encounter good and bad things in life, I don't really see how having a correction or boundary is harmful and no isn't a bad word. But I really appreciate your intensity, timing and focus on positive reinforcement to help mould the behavior you want but also reinforce the bond with the dog. I know this is the definition of balanced, but I've honestly seen trainers lean on the harshness correction way more than they should and not enough on the rewards and fun.
ОтветитьI have an 8 month old GSD whose Mum died when the litter was 3 weeks old. She has zero respect for anyone and nips constantly especially if she is stopped from doing as she pleases. Tried this but cant stop the biting/ nipping. I feel until we get her respect though we wont see any results in much.
ОтветитьGreat thx. I need to try this ASAP
ОтветитьBite, is a comunication mode. They don't heave hands. Is so simple to observ.
ОтветитьIn the team horny hideout we follow the rules of fuck around and find out even for pets and it seems to work i guess
ОтветитьWhat happens when they dont seem to care about the sound or contact
ОтветитьCompletely hasnt worked with E B T puppy yet. My hands are all bruised . When I do the finger thing she thinks it means war. The collar thing makers her flip around until she can bite my hand.
ОтветитьDepending on how smart your puppy is, you can also give out a loud yelp right when they bite you, then you calmly stop playing for a minute or create some distsnce between you and the dog. It's the most non-confrontational way to teach them that biting is bad, and that they can hurt others if they're too rough. (If you try this and they don't seem worried at all you've got a screwball though, best to drop the tactic 😅)
ОтветитьAn active correction is no different to my mum nudging me or giving me a kick under the table before I say something stupid, in fact it is alot less
ОтветитьLove your videos. Looking at getting a puppy in the new year. Never had a dog before and have been a bit worried with having young children. Your videos have given me confidence and an understanding of how to deal with unwanted behaviour. Thank you.
Ответитьwhat are your thoughts on when the young dog "surrounds the hand" with their teeth just grabbing the snout or the jaw (depending on uphanded or downhanded) and maintaining an uncomfortable grip until they release and pull away? sometimes a shake at the same time as "NO". hold the snout or hold the jaw until they feel uncomfortable.. all 3 of my cocker spaniels responded well to that. another scenario of a jumping dog controlled by kneeing them in the chest as they jump up.....flip them that way two or three times and they rarely do it again.
ОтветитьBrayt wayet?🤔
ОтветитьMy 3 month old is deaf how can we help him with biting without verbal
ОтветитьNone of this advice works with my 14 month Patterdale Terrier. If anything it makes her worse 😭😭😭
ОтветитьThis doesn’t work for my blue heeler pup at all. She is 14 weeks old. She keeps biting after the active correction and during the passive. I’m not sure what to do from here.
ОтветитьFrom how many months can you start training your puppy from right and wrong? Mine is 3 months now , got them to sit and give paw but they wont leave my clothes on the line and rips the clothes as they jump for it...I do understand they just wana play but they have so many toys and we do give them lots of attention but they dont understand the word no...
Its brother and sister..should i train them separately? The sister tends to distract her brother and bites him when we interact with him..
Liked and subscribed! Great job. And might I add, that is the coolest beard ever.
ОтветитьIt's nice
Ответитьnice tip, only one question left, where to get the hammer😉
ОтветитьWill I can’t thank you enough for all of your vids. As a first time dog owner they’ve been invaluable. I love how you really understand the psychology and communicate that so clearly and succinctly
ОтветитьSomeone told me they put their finger in the dogs mouth like almost down its throat and I said “there has to be a better way”
Don’t ever do that.
Just subscribed thanks!!
ОтветитьMy puppy is 8 weeks old this works for the most part but he randomly gets really aggressive and attacks me
ОтветитьWow just tried and she calmed down instantly. Nothing I tried before worked. I have two young dogs and they get so rough when they play. I’ve been trying to tone it down before they get too aggressive. Ty
ОтветитьWow this really work for me each time I made that noise he stopped
ОтветитьWe have an 18-week old Toller that I initially taught bite inhibition. Biting was only allowed gently. the problem is that he now bites very quickly and a lot. Almost immediately when he sees me he starts biting as a way to communicate or something. Distracting him with a toy doesn't really work. The technique in the video doesn't work for him either. It only gets him agressive when I apply it. Not impressed at all, not even more power. What do I need to do to make this work?
Ответитьthis is a fnaf reference
ОтветитьOur dog is to far gone in his bitting while playing we did this he doesn't stop he just wants to eat us help seriously help we give him the toys he loves them but still wants to bite our clothes like we are a dog smh he is so sweet just well wild 😜 we will keep at it what you are saying hopefully he finally gets it.
ОтветитьHelp me please. It doesn't work on my 2,5 month old kangal puppy. Any other ideas?
ОтветитьThis is hard enough even with active corrections. I'd hate to be trying this with passive corrections only. I wonder if those people are setting themselves up for failure.
ОтветитьIt worked !!!! Thank you !!! ❤️ I have 2 kiddos, we just adopted a 1.5 year old German shepherd mix and he’s been nipping non stop. This helped so much ! Thank you !!
ОтветитьTHANK U IN ADVANCE FROM FREYA SNOOK 8 WEEK DESTINED RURAL RESCUE SPANIEL MILITARY

ОтветитьYou are absolutely great trainer thank you for your videos❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis doesn't work for my puppy who is 4 months. She thinks I'm a clown when I do this and bites even more.
ОтветитьAnd.... what can i do for my 3y girl to help her not getting bites?
