Is there a way to full screen the display when recording?

Please note, the Elgato Video Capture does NOT work with a new Mac. If you go to About This Mac, and it says M1 or M2, which is the latest Mac technology, it's not compatible. Frustratingly, I just learned that from Elgato's customer service representative.

Can I trim AFTER I save?

Video Capture is so simple to use, yet whenever I try recording a tape, the video preview screen freezes after mere seconds. I can't record if the video always freezes on a random frame. Any methods for a fix?

No image - black screen on all tapes. (que the dumb blonde comments)

would this defeat copyright on an old vhs wedding video? the videographer who recorded it has long gone out of business.

Hello, I just got this device, I plugged everything in the right place, I installed the Software but every time I try to record I hear a buzzing sound. I plugged this capture card on my desktop, I'm running Windows 10. Is there a way to solve this?

Appreciate your video. Unfortunately on the Mac version I downloaded there was no preference tab on that home window, and when you click it in the tab there is no option for high resolution. Quality is less than desirable.

hey, did anyone had no signal when fist running the soft/hardware? i have connected this cables to my VHS/DVD and when connected to VHS part is shows no signal, with DVD is working correctly. VHS works perfectly on TV, any idea why is that, what can be done?

Nice presentation. However, you did not show the capability of adjusting the video settings (contrast, brightness, etc) prior to recording. Potentially a very useful feature.
