I used to play the new Zealand (kiwi) story on nes. It was a pretty decent game back then.

I always seem to come across this video every so often each year and I always keel over in laughter from the Violence Fight section. This episode is a gem.

Bust-A-Move Again is actually a very weird "localization" of Puzzle Bobble 2 for the US. They removed the dragons, changed all the music, got rid of all the cutscenes and the opponent characters, and replaced the bubble popping sound effect with EXPLOSIONS!!

This was only ever released on standalone arcade machines in the US. On Neo Geo, and later console releases we got a much more straightforward translation (sometimes called Bust-A-Move 2).

I love The Newzealand Story; it's on NES too under the name Kiwi Kraze.

In Japanese, the letters "kyo" is a combination of the symbol for "ki" and the symbol for "yo", so I'm sure whoever transcribed the title of the game Tokyo just misinterpreted.

I honestly wish they would re-release Taito Legends.
