PowerPoint Infographic Dashboard + Slide Zooms

Hey quick question, if you use slide zoom but then move to the next slide would it show the actual original slide?

Great video as always! There's one thing i'm wondering about and that's the steps of making the slide-zoom "thumbnail" invisible. Why do you need to do that when you can just replace that screenshot-thumbnail with whatever you want without having to make another layer and the invisible one? The effect stays the same and the link to your chosen slide stays the same. I just made the slide-zoom, placed the automated screenshot from my chosen slide, clicked on the "replace picture" and chose my new PNG. Works fine for me at least. Is it just to get a bigger clicking-area if you are using small PNG-icons maybe?
