The Mauser… is the best
ОтветитьNo mention of the 1903A3.
ОтветитьWhile my grandpa was issued a Thompson rather than a Garand, at one point he came across an abandoned workshop full of half finished K98ks and he was able to mail one home (since technically it wasn't contraband) and later had it finished after the war. He actually then went on to lose it somewhere down the years, and while it was eventually found in a relative's attic, before then he bought a Yugoslavian M48 to replace it and that one he eventually passed to me.
Ответитьlee enfield best bolt action rifle ever
ОтветитьMy friends and I all collect and use antique firearms. I can't think of any one that didn't perform just fine.
ОтветитьSvt 40
ОтветитьThe M-1 Garand persisted in the National Guard until at least 1970 when it was seen at Kent State.
ОтветитьIn my humble opinion, there are two outstanding weapons of WWII.The M1 and the Supermarine Spitfire.
ОтветитьI reckon the sks is also good
ОтветитьJapan just nedd their gun with type like how USA use M
ОтветитьM1
ОтветитьM-1 Garand
ОтветитьSMLE and the M1
ОтветитьBro. Everyone calls it kar-98. Only people that don't are gun nerds.
ОтветитьYeah, sorry, but the Sturmgewehr was the best infantry rifle of WWII. I don't care what fake parameters you are using to qualify for your contest.
ОтветитьThe Battle of Dunkirk Hitler halted his forces and allowed the British and the French to escape. That is what really happened. Anything the Victor says about world war 2 should be looked at and analyzed heavily
ОтветитьWhere mosin nagant?
ОтветитьThank God no one remember to put here the worst riffle ever made...you. Know what iam talking abaut.
It was made by a Eastern country, and was horrible to be nice.
Leaving out the Swiss and Swedish arms is not a smart idea. The MAS was ok but not great and certainly it is easily outperformed by the 6.5x55 and 7.5x55 Swiss and Swedish Mausers. They are still hands and feet better than any model Arisika ever made.
I take this list with a HUGE grain of salt. The quality and reliability of Carl Gustav manufactured arms is well known and established.
If I were a government at that time. I would have chosen the Russian SKS for the simplicity of mass production and low cost of manufacture. As well as its reliability and ease of use. It also had a chrome lined barrel.
ОтветитьHow about a #5? Enfield #5 was a short handy rifle used in the Pacific theater.
ОтветитьIt’s not the moss 36 it’s MAS 36
ОтветитьThe k31 smokes all of these
Ответитьtwo words....Moisin Nagant..?...errr...we forgot...🤪
ОтветитьIn 1966-67 I was in ITR at Camp Pendleton. Since the recruit training battalion used M-14s for drill and at the range there were not enough M-14s to go around to the Infantry Training Regiment so for my 4 wonderful weeks at ITR we humped M-1 Garands. They rattled like an old model T Ford. Several times before I went on to more training I got to hear ITR companies marching around hither and yon. There was no mistaking them because the Garands they had rattled like stones in a beer can. I loved that old M-1. Too bad they had to turn everyone in every infantry squad into a machine gunner but controlled fire is not much of a priority, I suppose. I carried an M-16 in Vietnam until I got my hands on a 12 Gauge shotgun.
Ответитьalways wanted a japanese arisaka but good luck finding one for cheap.
ОтветитьBro u forgor Mosin-Nagant M91/30
ОтветитьM1
ОтветитьFor me German rifle is the best of all just like they manufactured the best tanks.aircraft and cannon during world war 2 namely: tiger.stug and panzer for the tanks and messermecht, stuka and junkers 87 for aircraft and 88 for cannon unlike the allies their tank is not good like Sherman and kv2
ОтветитьMauser all the way
Ответитьyou missed the mosin nagant 91/30 used by russians in ww1 and ww2 and still in use today.
ОтветитьThe differences between the sights count for a lot.
Also, it might be better to judge the whole infantry section as a weapons system. The initial WW1 style emphasised long range rifle fire. Look at how by WW2 that long-range fire was mostly from an LMG that the whole section might carry ammunition for.
Brave french soldiers is a contradictory statment
ОтветитьThe mosin killed the most fascists
ОтветитьI played Enlisted's Battle Of Normandy campaigns and have the MAS 36 for an engineer... Best rifle to use while in combat...
ОтветитьThe M1 garand is what I would have wanted in ww2. My uncle carried it from Omaha beach until the end of the war he said he used a Mauser but didn't trust it I don't know what he meant by that. He loved his M1 and the B.A.R
ОтветитьWhy exclude Sweden's excellent M94? :) Was educated on it in 1993-94 and think it's still in use in the Swedish cavalry. Also own the late replacement CG2000 in 6x5. Also great.
ОтветитьEver heard of a Mauser. Was it used in WW2.
ОтветитьMost decorated Audie Murphy saw about as much front-line combat as anyone and experienced every weapon issued to US troops. He clearly stated the M-1 carbine was by far his favorite. On one occasion, at quite a distance, he used one to kill a German sharpshooter who had wounded him.
Ответитьyes USA BISA
ОтветитьSwiss K31 for me. But if we're including semi-auto, then yes, the Garand.
ОтветитьOld types of gun not efficient in battle fight
ОтветитьI think you can stay on target better with a semi-auto than a bolt action, plus the fact that it held 8 rounds makes the M1 my choice.
ОтветитьThat guy can shoot
ОтветитьWell done
ОтветитьGARAND ! God asked to borrow mine; but I politely declined. On my list would be the Johnson, B.A.R. and if I can stretch it a bit, the 1740 French Charleville Musket carried by the soldiers if the Continental Army of the United States in the Battle for Independence.
ОтветитьWhich weapon I would choose depends on the circumstances... generally, I would take the M1, but for dense jungle work I would prefer the Thompson M1A1, a weapon with which I have familiarity from my time in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
ОтветитьThe fallacy of the "M1 Ping" was developed by those who had zero military experience. The noise level of an infantry platoon firing semi or full automatic rifles is unbelievable. The enemy would never hear the "ping" or know what they heard.
