When I was young and dumb, I cut up jalapenos for salsa without gloves. I washed my hands and put my contact lenses in. Big mistake.😢

ОтветитьThe same recipe, change out peppers for cucumbers. Add 1/4 cup or less of sugar if you like. Yum!!

ОтветитьThanks I just made some with carrots. Onions and garlic and cauliflower .I use the same recipe. I use red pepper fakes.

ОтветитьIf you add a bit of diced onion and a few carrot slices to the jar, with the sliced jalapenos, it would be even better.

We also dehydrate lots grind and mix them for our shaker use on everything
I use 100% pickling vinegar, Stronger acid and powerful. This is not for everyone. Love.

ОтветитьI love them on my salad and use the juice or brine in place of vinegar with oil. In my tuna so many things jalapeño.🙄

ОтветитьThank you for your love of the spicy peppers and sharing that love with us. My daughter is engaged to a Mexican fella who is showing us that "spicy bueno". Now my 13 year old loves pickled jalapeños on her Doritos. I will be trying this as soon as I get ahold of my local farmer.

Bhoot Jolakia essentially translates into ghost scalded. It's so hot even a ghost will feel the heat. That's how the name evolved.
