I read something years ago that nature has men and women look at each other out of attraction also has a defense against predators and rivals. In modern times this has been forgotten, women tend to be really fussy which guys can check them out. Basically if you're not an attractive guy you're a creep.

Um, no. It is to feel the trigger. Feel the pain of a trigger. What does it remind you of? Feel that, too. One man's off center is not always another man's. Why? because we all have different triggers and different paths to heal. Just "getting your head straight" is terrible advice. You have to feel the pain. If you find yourself reaching for a bottle, playing video games, or otherwise escaping all the time, there might be something you are avoiding. Meditate and observe what is there. Once you do the work to feel not avoid feelings, you can carry on from a healthier more healed perspective.
