A COMPLETE Updated Guide to Herta! | 1.6 Relics, Light Cones, Teams

Glad you made this guide very fast! The HSR community needed this. I love that you consulted Dreamy too. I was building my new Herta for PF based on Dreamy’s old videos and my own guesswork. Now I don’t have to guess 😊.

On that note, I wanted to make a suggestion. With PF having a very different meta than MoC, perhaps in your future character guides if a character is a strong unit for PF you could include a section or notes for their PF specific builds or strategies. An all encompassing video on PF specific builds and strategies for strong pre-existing PF characters may also be very helpful.

First of all, the collab with Dreamy is awesome. She has fantastic content. Secondly, I'm so glad Herta is having a moment. I built her because I like her VA and story. Now, she's destroying Pure Fiction. It's great.
Finally, I wanted to say I'm glad your Guoba--bear characters (liike Herba) are getting higher resolution. The old ones were like 8-bit models (which I appreciate for retro reasons) but it's much better having these higher-res models, so we can enjoy the little details. Thanks.

The Birth of the Self S3 or Breakfast S5 which one is better for Pure Fiction only? I Have Breakfast lv 80 already, but TBOTS is lv 1, so if TBOTS is better by a tiny margin, I think it's more worth using Breakfast.

Can't get the last star with my usual mono Quantum Seele + hypercarry jingliu Teams.

I have the option to invest into jingyuan , Herta or himiko.

Any suggestions ? Herta seems weak because I have jingliu for ice

Somehow just farming quantum set is the overall best choice. My two carries are using it and now for pure fiction I get everyone else the weaker pieces

My relics are so scarce now. I had to run 2P 2P for both herta and himeko. My stats are alright. I just hate switching relics all the damn time

My hastily built Herta in Fiction is unorinically much better than my E2S1 Jing Yuan.

HSR do be going out of their way to make most units viable.

Quadratic scaling gave me too many flashbacks for my own good.

Pure Fiction is giving problems for my f2p account. I dont have any 5 star erudition characters and serval + herta are not built. I also dont have the resources to built them...

I built full damage Herta and shared it on my profile for others to use as a funny kuru kuru meme.
Now i use her for farming and clearing story content. Never regretted my decision.

Pure Fiction made me regret ignoring erudition units fr. Thank goodness I pulled for Argenti cause my Team 1 is already solved. However, I tried making Jingliu and ILDH but it's a struggle (also, I'm F2P). They got me scrambling to build my E6 Herta and Himeko.

Do you think Herta can perform even when the enemies are not ice weakness or if they buff the health of the spawns? I went and built her with my left over sets for topaz so she's decent right now but I wonder if she can perform well enough if the enemies are stronger. Also, I notice that the PF buff when bringing an enemy health down to below 50%, it doesn't trigger Herta talent (which mention the need for ally to do the damage). Which kinda makes it a little more restrictive as I noticed multiple ocassions where I lost out on Herta FU as the 'buff' damage got them to be below 50%. Still managed to clear 60k points though.

I'm so regretting it right now that I discarded her 5-star relics back when I was starting HSR (around June) 'cause I think 1 or 2 of them had crit subs and little me being naive af prioritized Physical MC's relics only to find out later on he/she was getting a new path. Back to hell farming for kuru-kuru i guess.

Really love seeing this! I'm one of the people who ignored erudition characters and have focused mostly on my jingliu and kafka and was struggling in PF 3 and 4 but now im going to build my Herta to help

Gosh this patch is tough! Trying to invest in building xueyi and Ruan Mei, and now Herta and himeko. Decided not invest when I first got them, now I regret it 😭

How about himeko? Is it good to use 2pcs firesmith and 2 grand duke set like Herta? I just got himeko in my old account. Failed again to bring Blade home. 😑 In this account, I want to build himeko with herta, clara and fu xuan. No choice. But I get guarantee for sparkle. 😔
