I’m looking to upgrade my 3060TI which graphics card should I get? I really wanna run like my suicide squad game or avatar frontiers and it just drops frames randomly in high areas and I really wanna try amd but what do you recommend? for a first timer upgrade? i had this 3060TI for awhile. Or should I keep my 3060 ti and get a AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600 6-Core

Almost every bit of my PC died, and it was old, so had to replace it, since i do everything with it, but i am not wealthy at all, so i had about €1150 to spend, and went for an MSI RTX 3060 12G, runs most stuff just fine, and yeah, i was NOT going for an 8Gb card. I run at 1440p so that's already pushing the limit on the bottom end.

be honest with me guy, is it worth buying one of the new 4k qd-oled 240hz screens if i know i will buy the 5070/6070 (or amd 8800xt/9800xt)

i really wanna upgrade from a R7 5800x/rx6700xt to a R7 5800x3d/rx7800xt. but im not sure how huge of an upgrade that is or if i might need a stronger cpu but then i might have to upgrade my mobo🤔

I wanna say that the 4060ti is actually a scam by Nvidia. It costs a hefty chunk more than the 3060ti despite offering the exact same performance. Only extra feature you get for your money is Frame Generation, which massively increases your input latency. The 4060ti imo belongs on the "absolutely avoid" list just because of the bad business practice that it is. A used 3060ti can be a much, much better deal.

This video is perfect for me. I'll admit, I'm not very familiar in the GPU territory right now but I'm trying to keep my eyes open. Currently running on a 6gb 1060 and potentially upgrading this year or the next. My setup doesn't allow for games >1440p and it has been great to see how you break down all the different parameters and considerations.

And what about mid budget laptop GPUs?

In Canada I can only find 4090s for roughly 3k

Waited for the 4080 super to come out before making a decision. I am coming from a 3080 10gb that I got lucky enough to get at release at msrp. I went with a 4090 asus tuf at 1,800. Just got it a few days ago. (Went from a 1080 ti, to the 3080 10gb, to the 4090 with a 4k 120 oled.)

Still using my Sapphire RX 590 Nitro+ 8 GB 😅maybe it's time for an upgrade...

i dont get "this is the best 1080p card"... People dont use graphics cards just for visual.. 4060 ti is a good card yea.. But if u want competitive 240fps at 1080p any game its not really the best card.. Youll need like a 4070 ti + maybe even more for games like cod warzone.

The best games are optimized for low end GPUs like the RTX 4060. It can run most games in 1080p and 1440p in high and ultra settings 60FPS. The very unoptimized and demanding games like Alan Wake 2, Lords of the Fallen 2, Avatar, Cyberpunk 2077 are forgettable games and shouldnt be a reason for people to buy a new GPU. DLSS3 will even push the value of the efficient RTX 4060 further. Always stick to the XX60 cards, because they are <$300 and will go a long way. The 3070, 3080, 3090, 4070, 4080, 4090 will lose their value very quickly in 3 years (starting from their initial release date, so we are close.) when the 5000 series releases and they cost $600 - $2000...

Haha I recently bought a 1650 for a small form factor PC in my living room to use with emulators. If it can run PCSX2, that's good enough! And it was about half the price (new) of a current gen low end card

Well the gpu im most interested in getting is the 1 i just purchased 4080 super. I already have a 4080 but im sending it back for the super. Bc of the price. For $50 more than i paid for regular 4080 i got a ddr5 motherboard and ram cl30 6000 and the 4080 super for just the sole price of the 4080. So ill pay an extra $50 to finally get off ddr4 platform. Been trying to find a reason to anyways.

I'll only use the PC for simracing on triple screens (got great value 240Hz/0,5ms) and decided on a 7800X3D as the games are very CPU heavy.

I finally worked out what caused my 7900 XT Hellhound to not work with my EVGA X570 DARK mobo & 5800X3D with 32MT/s of RAM.
It was the CPU! I put in a 5900X CPU as it was on sale for $499 here in Oz & I put it in somewhere to let everyone here know, but it was taken off.
Well anyway, my 7900 XT Hellound works grouse @ 1440p with my EVGA X570 DARK mobo & the 5900X CPU; the comp runs a little better too 😎

Got a 4080 super, 7950x3d. all the goodies. Only to have a exestential melt down because my 48th best seller on amazon gskills 64 kit isnt on the Asus QVL list (or whatever it is) so I had to quick ship in the 470th best selling gskills 64 kit. a waste of time and putting almost $250 in limbo. BUT YOURE THE MAN STILL JASON!

I was very disappointed in the new Nvidia super series cards. The extra vram on the 4070 ti super is nice, but I was hoping it would perform closer to a 4080 and it's almost same performance as a normal 4070 ti. The only good thing about the 4080 super is the price drop, the performance is like 3% better. They should have just kept the standard 4080 and reduced it's price by 200 dollars. The card that I want myself is a 7800xt 16gb, or I may buy a 6950xt if I can get it cheap enough.

All you need is a 2080ti/3070 for 1080p/1440p or a used 3090 if you have the money for 1440/4k. Why pay double or triple the price

does it matter if i buy Founder or third party GPU? right now i have AMD but i actually want to switch to NVIDIA(founder edition) cuz i have bad experience with amd, altough NVIDIA is not in stock and it actually doesnt seem to be an option while there is amd 7900 xtx... should i wait for NVIDIA stock or stay with AMD? my problem with AMD was bad optimalisation and performance in games ( AMD RX 5700 sapphire)
