I love these types of videos so much, i recently finished modding my 2ds xl (needed to as it's a japanese machine), and i've now fallen down a rabbit hole and desperately want to try repairing and hard modding ds's. Great video man

Can you fix my new 3ds xl I tried replacing the bottom screen and I failed and now only the top screen works. The touch screen doesn’t work and the volume switch doesn’t work and also the home button doesn’t work please I tried sending it to a repair shop and he got it to turn on and that’s it your my only hope if you can please tell me how I can send it to you

This is unrelated but: RetroFuture, I have a DSi that has a very strange touch screen problems. I cannot draw no matter what I do in the flipnote app, yet the console makes sounds when I touch the screen assuming that means it’s recognizing the stylus and my finger. number 2, if I use the touch screen at all in the photos app the whole system freezes but the music keeps playing! It just now froze when I put a game in it

I remember that when I was little I broke my 3ds XL the same way and I then realized after some time my mom probably did take it to a place to fix it but wasn't possible or she just straight up trowed it away. No wonder I got the 2ds on Christmas after a few years later! Because I was a really clumsy child! ;v; (my 3ds broke at the 3rd fall while having a black and pink nerf foam case)
