I was a 14 year old in October 71. That day my goal was to become the third base of the varsity team of my High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In the afternoon,after the try outs, I herd a group of kids in the Geometry classroom hearing the Story of Stories. I received Him as my Saviour. .. In those years Maranatha songs were a musical companion to these bunch of kids loving the Lord and preaching the gospel of Grace. It's been 52 yrs and we still love Him dearly and praise Him. He is Awsome! And yes I made the varsity team and played a great season, but nothing compared to the awareness of His tender love coming to my school to bring me to Him....

Nothing like Maranatha songs to get me out of a slump. Praise MY DEAR LORD AND SAVIOR

I remember these beautiful Hymns from the 70s, & 80s so very soothing.

i am a 24yr old african american, and i discovered the Maranatha singers a few months ago while listening to pastor Chuck Smith on spotify and their sound caught my attention and i've been listening to them ever since. it's extremely rare to find true worship music. and i am grateful for music like this. you still feel the sincerity in every song.

I got saved and a week later was baptized on Easter Sunday 1980 in California. I was discipled by Jesus people of the 70’s who played guitar and sang these songs. This music brought the scriptures to life for me. Still fills my heart with a special joy when I hear it.
