I'm glad I found ur channel....personable, great content, and ez on the eyes 😊
ОтветитьOk, it's after midnight and I'm exhausted after watching every single one of your videos today. And even got my kitchen pantry stripped down and ready for paint tomorrow! (thanks to your inspiration) I'm 70 and need my sleep! Good Night! Thanks again.
ОтветитьLove the video :)
ОтветитьAUTUMN i the time when planet Earth is preparing for rest ,,,,,
ОтветитьBeige may kill you.
Life is in color.
Minimalism is for dead people.
ОтветитьThe first week of August is not fall... you're six weeks away from fall.
ОтветитьРецепт как собрать квартиру из пинтерест: античные штуки, куски марамора или гранита, мебель 60х, немного мебели и светильников времен Bauhaus, всякие ковры из джута или шерсти натуральных оттенков, готово.
ОтветитьGreat opinion, thanks
Ответить(an extra tip i have found very effective for many years) cozy home tip #6: invite ya boy over ☝😎
ОтветитьBest spaces evolve over time..
ОтветитьLol i bought my house 4 years ago. Im literally never leaving. Yet, i havent hung 1 thing, its all just leaning against the walls 🤣
ОтветитьHappy I found your channel! Love that floor lamp! :)
ОтветитьThat tripod lamp is gorgeous! Where'd you get it?
ОтветитьShow the design more than your face dude! You can have a voiceover but aint no one interested in seeing you chat mug!!
ОтветитьFall is a goated season tbh
ОтветитьJust moved into my new home in London, loving these videos. Thank you🤗
ОтветитьFor unique lights or lights in general if you don't want multiple apps for different lightbulbs, because phillips ones are quite expensive especially in that mass, get yourself smart socket. Works with the Apple HomeKit or Google, Alexa... I like to use them for anything rlly like your coffee machine for example.
ОтветитьThe overhead light is for cleaning and searching something only.
ОтветитьI completely agree about adding vintage pieces. So many decades of style to choose from and ways to incorporate. And LIGHTING yes! The lighting dept at IKEA is a great space to get an idea of different tones and intensities. ❤
ОтветитьGreat ideas I've not thought of, thank you Ethan.
ОтветитьShould do an apartment tour
ОтветитьYour place is an absolute dream, wow! I just moved to Switzerland and I have been collecting vintage pieces over the years from different places. Also one thing that I recommend when it comes to hanging pictures is framing vintage post cards or posters. I got one poster off Facebook marketplace with California poppies on it when I actually lived there the last 3 years and now it's not only a great picture but also it's connected to a place and it contains memory which I believe is also super important to making places more homey or cozy.
Ответитьbro your asethetic is so fire 🔥
ОтветитьWhere is the first candle stick holder from? It is really cool!
ОтветитьI like that you mentioned music and smell. I love playing music throughout my house
ОтветитьI lovvve everything about this video !
ОтветитьGood tips, agree with all. I also feel that having a variety of furniture makes a room cozy, like an oak hutch, and a white coffee table, it adds interest to the room, instead of everything matching in color.
ОтветитьI was exactly the same way with overhead lights!!! I still am to be honest. I hated too bright.
ОтветитьI would decorate my living room with YOU, standing in the middle
ОтветитьHanging art really adds a lovely quality to a space. Made myself some prints (originally to sell) but now I’m thinking I wanna keep them😂😂
ОтветитьReally greate video 👏 im looking forward to follow along. our designstyle is pretty close. Love from Denmark 🇩🇰🍂
ОтветитьNICE new subscriber here good job!
ОтветитьScandinavian culture is definitely all about cosiness because for half the year it is cold and dark, so they have found ways to make the best of it. Take Danish hygge or Swedish fika, it's all about intentionality, mindfulness, and appreciating the little moments. And this translates into their design. Even the cities here like Copenhagen and Stockholm have a distinctly cosy feel to them. I've lived in Denmark before and now live in Sweden and I would not want to live anywhere else in the world (I have yet to live in Norway but I will do that at some point).
ОтветитьI generally agree with all the things you ve said. However, one can create a cozy home by using a few cool toned colours and it s all about the balance. And the result can be much more interesting by the contrast of cool tones and warm tones. Like the contrast of warm light in the "blue" hour
or a cloudy scenery in nature . It can be cozy if you use the right elements. The light of course and the unique pieces are super important, like you mentioned.
Just found your channel! Love your style and tips. Keep up the great work. I have a feeling you'll have 100k subscribers in no time!
ОтветитьThis was great, I really like the fragrance cabinet and the shelf under the tv. The atmosphere thing is so true. Can't wait to have my own place and have full control on how to furnish it haha
Ответитьthank you for telling people not to buy mass produced art 🙏
ОтветитьOverhead lights... 👊😡
ОтветитьOmgggg You said the Big light. That was nostalgic for me. Love the video ❤️
ОтветитьOmg i literally do pretty much everything on your list, love it!
ОтветитьLos ángeles makes it too easy to thrift shop on facebook marketplace. My city is the ABSOLUTE worst for it.
ОтветитьI think my biggest struggle is storage space, when objects don't have a home to hide in, they give a more cluttered impression and remove the cosiness..
ОтветитьThank you for these. We have the same style at home and same principles. I just kept nodding throughout the video. I ask myself “What’s my style?” I think it’s eclectic, a mix of what I love from different trends.
It’s of mid-century, traditional, boho, cottage, Japandi, etc. I mixed minimalism with maximalism, modern with vintage, muted tones with pops of color. Once I stopped being strict and enjoyed the trends, my rooms stopped feeling pretentiously “themed”, and began being deeply “organic”.
I just wish Japan has more vintage pieces like in the West. It’s hard to find good stuff here.
Such a cute video! I was listening to it while I was re-styling my place for fall. So it was perfect
ОтветитьI love cozy
ОтветитьDo you have a link for your perfume cabinet?
