At first Slowbro's mega evolution is somewhat strange but given how the slowpoke line basically revolves around how Shellder becomes a spiky shell-like creature whenever it attaches to slowpoke, suppose it makes sense. Although Galarian slowbro and slowking seem to have a slightly different relationship than slowpoke that reside outside of the Galar region.

The "Shellder" on Slowbro is actually a canceled beta Pokémon from red and blue. It's name was Turban and it looked almost exactly like the "Shellder" on Slowbro.

But then it might overlap with my Alolan Raichu, Tentacruel would overlap with my Crobat even though my Nidoking overlaps with my Venusaur and my Garchomp overlaps with my Gastrodon even though I could just swap back to my Bibarrel.

Maybe you've heard about it, but I've seen in some video that the "Shellder" on its tail was a discarded beta pokemon called Turban 🤔

Honestly it is probably what I'd call now the best wall, in pokemon. It can spread toxic, heal itself, do decent damage, take a hit and allow its team mates in for free. And can I be honest considering it is one of the slowest walls in pokemon it could do its job really well

While I still like Slowbro, I actually liked his generation one Incarnation the most. He hasn't changed THAT much, but he used to be beefier and have a different expression. In Pokemon Stadium, he was very thick and had huge thunder thighs, which made him look extremely tanky and durable. His expression also looked more thoughtless which added to his "resistant to pain" look.

In Red/Blue, his face is menacing. When you fight him in battle, he has the face of something that is going to enjoy every part of that battle. All the waves he'll crash on you, all the muscles he'll pull with psychic energy, etc. You going to try and deal the hurt to him? Ha! He enjoys THAT too!

Slowbro needs to be mention in Gen 1 Ubers as one of the Best Mewtwo checks ( Not running Thunderbolt)

It’s also a solid Mew check. It has a chance to 2OHKO with +2 Surf after an Amensia boost

And now slowbro is in OU yet again
