What are your thoughts on Central sleep apnea? It’s where your brain stops sending signals for u to breath so I woke up frequently. It’s affecting my life,my job. Etc. I’m curious if it has anything to do with my diet cause it don’t happen every single night

I've eaten tomatoes and Bell peppers My whole life and I've had no problem, but I always notice that whenever I eat more than a handfull of peanuts, which I hardly ever do, I would get migrane the next day. I found it weird since I do fine with nuts, now this might explain it.

So can I eat raw tomatoes if I peel them and remove the seeds? Or does that still have some lectins in there?

My grandmother would always treat three vegetables with salt before cooking or eating them: cucumbers, eggplant, and potatoes. Her reason: She said that the salt "kills the poisons" in these foods.
For cucumbers and eggplant, she would peel and slice them, then sprinkle salt over them to coat them on both sides, cover, and leave them to sit a few hours or so. Then she would rinse the salt off before preparing or cooking.
For potatoes, she would peel and chop the potatoes up, then put them in a bowl of water with salt added and let them sit a few hours or so. When it came time to cook the potatoes, she would first rinse off the salted soaking water, then bring the potatoes to a boil in fresh water, then turn down to a simmer. At that point, a white foam would come to the surface of the water, and she would scoop that off, then continue simmering the potato until done.
Years ago, I lived in a macrobiotic study house and later took macrobiotic cooking classes as well for a few years after that, and learned how to cook beans in a pressure cooker. First the beans would be soaked overnight. Then the beans would be brought to a boil in unsalted water, then simmered, until that same foam surfaced that I had seen come to the surface when I was a kid when my grandmother was cooking potatoes. The foam was also scooped off in macrobiotic cooking, just like my grandmother did. In macrobiotics, the reason for scaping off this film was that it contains indigestible sugars. Then they would put a piece of kombu seaweed in the pot which they explained as "helping to cook the beans." Then they would place the lid on the pressure cooker to bring up the pressure to fully cook them, usually for about 45 minutes or so. Salt was added only after the beans were fully cooked.
And in macrobiotics, three vegetables are never eaten: tomatoes, potatoes, and eggplant.
So are these good ideas? Pretreating cucumbers, eggplant, and potatoes with salt and for beans, the soaking, pressure cooking beans with kombu seaweed and adding the salt last. How about the scraping off of the white scum like material that potatoes and beans exude?

Once again... Great Info...
BUT... Once again... how did we like this video/podcast??
Well it was great!! BUT, (so many BUTs)
Why have the comments on? You answer NOONES questions... How in One breath.. Do You "Claim" you quit practising to become a teacher, To Help.. do you NOT answer anyone's questions??? I have scoured your videos for hours, and the only time you've answered anything was on a few videos that you were a guest speaker... why were their questions answered... Yet ours aren't? You already sound arrogant when you are being interviewed.. a bit better when you are the interviewer, even though you start squirming when your guests take the lead of the Q&A talking to long...How does a Dr just ramble ramble RAMBLE on... and learn much from people "TRYING" to ask for help, telling you their symptoms... when you don't sit long enough to listen (Not Just Hearing Their voices!!!) You remind me of this...
RING RING- - > Suicide Hotline - -> Please Hold‼️
Watch your videos.. count the word ---> I I I I I FROM ONE TO A Thousand in an hours time‼️ This is the sound of.. This IS ALL About ME (ALL & TOTALLY) and NOT about them‼️
If, I wasn't looking for Answers Because of MY Daughters Health... I sure as Hell would NOT keep trying to swallow your Arrogance!!! Oh and one last thing... The comment you made about the looks/ages of Yourself, & Dr. Oz.. That was just such a Rude/Ignorant/MEAN thing To Say!!! My opinion... "MAYBE" You hate the fact he is so Loved, as a Physician... but Even more, as. "Person" or You are "Too High and Mighty" to Be JUST a Guest, and in he company of a fellow MD that doesn't or hasn't had any major breakthroughs‼️

Hopefully, someone can give me some feedback. I'm on the Paradox program for eleven weeks now. My goal was to get rid of the plantar fasciitis in my heel and lower my husband's blood pressure and loss weight. Good success with the pressure, heel pain is less intense but not gone, weight loss had been nothing to write home about. Taking recommended soluble fiber and 20,000 ui of vitamin D; experiencing blotting and ankle swelling. What am I not doing or doing wrong? Help!

Question: I issue with gluten .symptoms are itching in certain areas deter skin headaches. Over time and help from homeopathic care I learned that I can take HCL tablets and eat sour dough bread to help mitigate symptoms. One point I wanted to know why HCL tablets work. I concluded I not only have sensitivities I had low stomach acid. Not sure if that is really true. Instead of purchasing these tablets I went to Apple cider vinegar and ACV tablets. Taking those would prevent itching depending on amount and timing of I had gluten. Also product quality and types would determine severity of itching. Again not sure why. So I would love to learn more. Question: why Apple cider vinegar and HCL help ? I was thinking more stomach acid reduce the lectins. Because of you I have learned so much about lectins and finally don’t feel alone about this gluten topic. I have more to say but I will stop here. I look forward to your response

Thanks so much for all your valuable work and information. I recall watching a TV program on the manufacture of canned beans....inside a Heinz factory. It was on a massive scale, and one thing I remember is that the beans are cooked inside their tins. Can we then assume that canned beans are effectively pressure cooked?

Thank u for your generous knowledge and contribution . I have a situation of psoriasis and have been following 90% of your protocol with intermittent fasting 23:1 . My skin still flaking heavily and itchy despite entering 6 month phase. Is this normal ? I remember your advise on carbon intake to absorb toxic metal-secretion by liver. Is it alright to consume it on empty stomach now that I am doing prolong fasting 5 days weekly in hoping for speedy recovery ? Will this prolong practice invite cancer as this is similar to consuming burnt-steak ? Appreciate your thought on this. Thanks again.
